Let's Stay Together Premiered on BET on January 11, 2011

Let’s Stay Together is the story of Stacy Lawrence, a pediatrician who is engaged to Charles Whitmore, the contractor she hired to remodel her kitchen. Stacy and Charles have a fun, sexy, intense dynamic. However, six months in, some of the magic of finally finding a soul mate has worn off, and they find themselves constantly renegotiating their rules of cohabitation.

In contrast, Stacy’s super-fabulous younger sister Tasha and her husband Jamal act like an old married couple even though they’re only in their 20s. Tasha made a lot of mistakes in love before she found a stable, ambitious guy like Jamal so she has dedicated herself to pleasing her man and raising their six-month-old twins. Jamal considers himself lucky to have a fine, dedicated wife like Tasha even though she does bring the drama on a regular basis.

Charles’ earthy younger sister Kita, a proud employee of the DMV, is celebrating her independence by taking a break from dating while she explores all that life has to offer before she settles down.

The different points of view between the girls and guys over the used ring was amusing

Well the singing was awful but he had a point she said no so why don't re-use the ring ?.

Jamal getting told off for taking his son from the photo shoot because Tasha was going to dress him like a girl, was amusing

Stacy getting jealous because Charles was becoming to friendly with her friends was was amusing and Tasha stopping Jamal new client making a move on him was great

The marriage counselor trying to sell them her book by sabotaging their relationship was crazy and did they really fail 6 out of the 7 F's

Tasha's  fantasy dream was amusing and Charles working for Stacy was a disaster

All the guys taking photos of Tasha's boobs when she put the car keys down there to stop the others leaving was amusing and the baby interrupting the fooling around was funny

Stacy picking June 31st as their wedding date was deliberate but none of them noticed the mistake except Charles

Tasha and Jamal asking Stacy and Charles to be executors if something was to happen to them would of been nice if it wasn't for who would look after their kids and Kita taking two days of silence was amusing

Jamal finding out Tasha's father had been paying her credit card bill for years was amusing and stopping her from getting a replacement after he cut it up was priceless

Stacy and Charles list of things not to do that will lead to makeup sex was amusing even down to fixing the kitchen sink

Stacy flirting with the patient's father Mike was amusing and i didn't think she would have a date with him but what a disaster it was

Stacy and Charles trying to make each other jealous while Tasha and Jamal were trying to get them back together was over the top but the end proposal in the toilet from Stacy made it worth while

I think this was the last in the first season and would of been a nice place to end with their wedding but with Charles doing a runner which was disappointing, Charles singing his vows was different but Jamal joining in was amusing

Stacy's mom saying she had a backup plan after Charles disappeared was a surprise but showing her profile #3 before they actually got married was amusing

Crystal dating a former pimp was amusing but from the sound of his phone call it sounded like he was still doing it but Stacy financial responsibilities was a lot to desire

Jasmine having Charles at her beck and call was amusing but I'm not surprised Stacy was upset at first when she moved into their home and the way they got her to leave was impressive
