About the Show:
Set 58 years before Battlestar Galactica, Caprica follows two rival families - the Graystones and the Adamas - as they grow, compete, and thrive in the vibrant world of the peaceful 12 Colonies, living in a society close to our own. Entangled in the burgeoning technology of artificial intelligence and robotics that will eventually lead to the creation of the Cylons, the two houses go toe-to-toe, blending action with corporate conspiracy and sexual politics. Caprica will deliver, intrigue, political backbiting and family conflict in television's first science fiction family saga.

Daniel Graystone, a computer genius, is owner of a large computer corporation that is spearheading the development of artificial intelligence. He and his wife Amanda, who's a brilliant surgeon, are both relentless in their scientific pursuits. The Adama clan is helmed by Joseph Adama, a renowned criminal defense attorney and father of future Battlestar commander William Adama. When tragedy strikes both families, lines are drawn that will determine the fate of the human race.

Season 1



Episode 1: Pilot
58 years before the fall, two families, the Graystones and the Adamas, live together on Caprica, a colony many light years away from Earth, where a startling breakthrough in artificial intelligence brings about unforeseen consequences.

Episode 2: Rebirth
In the wake of the MAGLEV bombing that killed his daughter, Daniel Graystone plunges himself into work. He tries to figure out why he can only create a single intelligent robot, not understanding that the answer lies within the fact that part of his daughter survived the explosion and is closer to him than he could imagine. Consumed with grief, Amanda Graystone is obsessed with discovering who her daughter really was, and slowly begins piecing together the details of Zoe's life.

Episode 3: Reins of a Waterfall
Following Amanda's public revelation that their daughter was responsible for the MAGLEV tragedy, the Graystones must face the wrath of angry Capricans. For Daniel, this includes a confrontation with Sam and Joseph Adama, in which Joseph demands that Daniel reunite him with his daughter's avatar. Daniel also realizes he can't deal with his grief in private -- this is all going to play out on a public stage.

Episode 4: Gravedancing
Daniel preps himself to go on the popular Backtalk with Baxter Sarno  to put a good spin on his daughter's role in the bombing tragedy, despite protests from Amanda who is unaware that Sam is waiting for his moment to carry out his brother's requested hit.
Meanwhile, the GDD begin raids and searches for evidence linked to the Soldiers of the One, as Lacy tries to get Keon to help her make Zoe's delivery to Gemenon.

Episode 5: There is Another Sky
Tamara seeks help in the V-Club to return to the real world, but only on the condition that she use her inability to derez to help play an intricate and dangerous game. In the real world, Joseph finds out that he has lost control of young William and that the only way to return as a father he must finally put his wife and daughter to rest.
Daniel learns that Graystone Industries is ready to drop him over his decision to forfeit profits on the holoband. In order to keep a stronghold on his company, he introduces a promising technological breakthrough: the Cylon.

Episode 6: Know Thy Enemy
Company rival Tomas Vergis confronts Daniel over the theft of the meta-cognitive processor and the two workers who were murdered in the robbery. However, his means of revenge aren't quite what Daniel expects.
Keon takes Lacy to meet Barnabas Greeley, leader of the Soldiers of the One. Troubled over the work he's been doing with the STO, Clarice hopes to gain attention by presenting the Zoe avatar and sets course by taking it directly from Daniel's lab.

Episode 7: The Imperfections of Memory
With Zoe's avatar still out of reach, Clarice keeps up her ruse of providing a shoulder for Amanda, especially when she begins seeing her dead brother, which Clarice interprets to be a part of something bigger.
Joseph dives into New Cap City to find Tamara, as Zoe continues to court Philo to help get her robotic body off-world, but may wind up helping Daniel who is still being hounded by Vergis to sell the Buccaneers.

Episode 8: Ghosts in the Machine
Daniel is beginning to suspect that Zoe-Avatar is in the robot, but his pleas for his daughter to reveal herself go ignored. In an effort to flush her out, he launches a campaign of psychological torture, resulting in escalating tests that force Zoe into a choice she cannot take back.

Episode 9: End of Line
When Daniel finally sets a deadline for resetting the U-87 Cylon, and unknowingly ending Zoe's existence as she knows it, she makes a desperate attempt to save herself. But when her plan backfires, she finds herself out of time and out of options. Furious with a recent comeuppance, Barnabas ignites his feud with Clarice into an all-out war. Trapped in the middle is Lacy, who is forced to make a decision she may regret forever. Daniel makes a confession to an already reeling Amanda that sends her over the edge.

Episode 10: Unvanquished
Having lost both his wife and company, Daniel approaches the Ha'la'tha with a deal to capitalise on virtual avatars as a means of defeating grief.
Clarice pitches her plan for apotheosis to the doubtful leadership on Gemenon.

Episode 11: Retribution
A botched spaceport bombing leads Clarice to discover that her young converts have turned and uses it as an opportunity to dismantle Barnabas's cell.
Agent Duram's investigations steers closer to Clarice and sows the seeds of doubt Amanda has in her.
Daniel straddles a moral line as he works with the Adamas to blackmail Graystone Industries board members.

Episode 12: Things We Lock Away
In New Cap City, a vengeful Tamara confronts fellow "deadwalker" Zoe.
Clarice and Amanda depart from the cabin, Amanda to an empty home and Clarice to a kidnapped Lacy.
Meanwhile, Daniel has successfully won back his company, but there's one more part of the process that Daniel isn't ready for.

Episode 13: False Labor
Having resumed leadership of Graystone Industries with the partnership of the Ha'la'tha, Daniel aims to hold up his end by trying to recreate the avatar programme as he attempts to perfect a digital copy of his wife.
Sam's personal feelings over political turmoil on Tauron leaves him at odds with the Guatrau and even his own husband.
Amanda has difficulty in earning the trust of the Willow family.

Episode 14: Blowback
Amanda tries to get more information from Clarice, but can't get close enough. In order to provide her with the equipment to do so, Duram would have to give her up as his CI, a dangerous confession given the possible leak within the department.
Lacy is taken with others to an STO training camp on Gemenon, but their ship gets hijacked along the way.
Daniel continues perfecting Amanda's avatar, unaware that he's been given even shorter time by the Guatrau whom he discovered has been shipping Cylons to STO on Gemenon.

Episode 15: The Dirteaters
As the Adama brothers rise to new positions in the Ha'la'tha, they are haunted by the mission of their late parents and the different direction the Guatrau is taking them. Daniel hopes to use this with Sam by offering Cylons for Tauron, in exchange for refraining to carry out the ordered hit.
Meanwhile, Zoe and Tamara have gained a reputation in New Cap City so immense, that it has spilled out into the real world.

Episode 16: The Heavens Will Rise
As the "Avenging Angels" change code inside New Cap City, Daniel is able to track them down, but an early snafu in trying to reach out to Zoe leave the Graystones to enter the game only under its strict rules. With only one chance, Daniel asks help from Sam who has no interest in disturbing his brother's peace of mind.
Clarice's plan for apotheosis is threatened as Duram continues to employ Amanda under the GDD's radar.
On Gemenon, Lacy discovers that the U-87 robots respond to her commands.

Episode 17: Here Be Dragons
The Graystones' search for Zoe leave them oblivious to the danger of Clarice and her two husbands invading their home. At the same time, the Adamas are targeted by the Ha'la'tha. One family will finally begin the move forward, while the other will experience yet another tragedy.
On Gemenon, Lacy is also in the crosshairs as the STO make a move to take her out as a threat.

Episode 18: Apotheosis - [SERIES FINALE]
Clarice and Olaf move forward with the plan to blow up Atlas Arena when they learn of their powerful ally in the GDD. Singh covers their tracks by framing the Graystones as terrorists, forcing them to go on the run.
The grieving Adamas confront the Guatrau for his string of recent decisions in the hopes of avoiding further violence.
