About the Show:
American Horror Story revolves around the Harmons, a family of three who moved from Boston to Los Angeles as a means to reconcile past anguish. The all-star cast features Dylan McDermott as “Ben Harmon,” a psychiatrist; Connie Britton as “Vivien Harmon,” Ben’s wife; Taissa Farmiga as “Violet,” the Harmon’s teenage daughter; Jessica Lange in her first-ever regular series TV role as “Constance,” the Harmon’s neighbor; Evan Peters plays “Tate Langdon,” one of Ben’s patients; and Denis O’Hare as “Larry Harvey.” Guest stars for the series include Frances Conroy as the Harmon’s housekeeper; Alexandra Breckenridge as the Harmon’s housekeeper; and Jamie Brewer as Constance’s daughter.

Season 1



Episode 1: Pilot
The Harmons--Ben, Vivien, and daughter Violet--move to Los Angeles and take up residence in a house rumored to be haunted, a house that has been the site of several ghastly murders. While Ben and Vivien deal with their strained relationship after Vivien's miscarriage and Ben's subsequent infidelity, Violet gets into fights at school and befriends one of her father's teenage psychiatric patients. Unknown to them, the house's ghostly residents have their own plans.

Episode 2: Home Invasion
While Ben goes back to Boston at the request of a person from his past, Violet and Vivien are terrorized by three intruders who know all about the house and the 1968 murders.

Episode 3: Murder House
Ben gets an unexpected visitor and loses something valuable. Meanwhile, Vivien learns more about the house, and Moira begs Constance for release from the house.

Episode 4: Halloween (1)
Two of the house's former tenants come back to help the Harmons decorate the house for Halloween. Meanwhile, Tate persuades Ben to keep seeing him, Moira goes to see her mother, and Adelaide decides on a costume for Halloween.

Episode 5: Halloween (2)
On Halloween, the night when the dead are free to mingle with the living, Tate confronts visions of his past, Ben and Vivien deal with their unexpected visitor, Chad takes out his frustrations on the Harmons' Halloween decorations, and Constance mourns Adelaide's death.

Episode 6: Piggy, Piggy
Ben gets a new patient obsessed with an urban myth and tries to help him overcome his fear. Meanwhile, Vivien confronts the ultrasound technician who fainted at the sight of her unborn child, and Violet learns what Tate did in 1994.

Episode 7: Open House
Moira schemes to have a buyer dig up the yard and free her from her bondage to the Murder House. Meanwhile, Vivien receives startling news about her pregnancy while Ben discovers the truth about Larry.

Episode 8: Rubber Man
Hayden conspires with Tate and Nora to drive Vivien insane and take the unborn twins for herself. Meanwhile, Violet must choose whether to support her mother or not, while the full story of the deaths of Chad and Patrick, and the origin of Rubber Man, are revealed.

Episode 9: Spooky Little Girl
The Murder House's most famous victim makes her entrance. Meanwhile, Hayden's sister comes looking for her, Ben receives a surprise when he learns the father of Vivien's babies, and Constance offers her support to Vivien.

Episode 10: Smoldering Children
While Ben accepts that Vivien was telling the truth about the rapist, Violet learns some truths about Tate and herself. Meanwhile, the police suspect Constance in the "Boy Dahlia" case, and Larry must choose between love and freedom.

Episode 11: Birth
Chad and Patrick prepare to have one of their twins, unaware that Nora and Hayden have claimed them for their own. Meanwhile, Ben tries to take Violet out of the house to see her mother, while Vivien gives birth.

Episode 12: Afterbirth
Ben tries to take his son away from the Murder House. Meanwhile, the house receives two new residents, and Constance takes extreme steps for the sake of family.

Season 2



Episode 1: Welcome To Briarcliff
In 1964, Sister Jude runs the Briarcliff Sanitarium with an iron hand. But things may go beyond her control when the sanitarium physician conducts secret experiments on their most recent inmate: a gas station attendant nicknamed Bloody Face who decapitated and skinned three woman.

Episode 2: Tricks And Treats
Farmers bring their demon-possessed son to Briarcliff and Monsignor Howard prepares for an exorcism. Meanwhile, Grace tries to persuade Lana to accept Kit's help in their escape attempt, and Dr. Arden goes on a date.

Episode 3: Nor'easter
Kit and Grace plan an escape during a violent storm as Sister Jude hosts a movie. Meanwhile, Lana approaches Thredson for help, Sister Mary Eunice enjoys her newfound freedom, and Sister Jude is haunted by her past.

Episode 4: I Am Anne Frank (1)
A patient claiming to be Anne Frank is committed to Briarcliff. Meanwhile, Word of Arden's assault on a prostitute gets out, but Sister Jude is more interested in the fact that he has Nazi memorabilia... and Anne claims that she saw Arden Auschwitz. Also, Thredson offers to get Lana out if she consents to be killed, and Kit discovers the truth about Grace.

Episode 5: I Am Anne Frank (2)
Sister Jude goes to a Nazi hunter for help, but soon learns that "Anne Frank" isn't what she claims. Meanwhile, Thredson convinces Kit to confess so that he can help him, and Lana makes plans to escape.

Episode 6: The Origins of Monstrosity
A mother abandons her daughter at Briarcliff over Sister Jude's objections, and the child soon finds a friend in Mary Eunice. Meanwhile, Monsignor Howard discovers what Dr. Arden has been up to, and Lana finds out about Bloody Face's origins.

Episode 7: Dark Cousin
A Dark Angel is called to Briarcliff but the possessed Sister Mary Eunice disagrees. Meanwhile, Sister Jude is tormented by the memories of her past and Kit escapes from custody to rescue Grace.

Episode 8: Unholy Night
Sister Mary Eunice uses a mental patient who dresses as Santa Claus and kills to eliminate those who threaten her. Meanwhile, Arden seeks out an ally and Lana seeks out Kit.

Episode 9: The Coat Hanger
Emerson turns over a new leaf, while Lana gets some shocking news from Sister Mary Eunice. Meanwhile, Arden and Kit join forces to learn who--or what--abducted Grace's corpse.

Episode 10: The Name Game
Monsignor Howard turns to Jude for advice, while the ex-nun recovers from electroshock therapy. Meanwhile, Thredson returns to Briarcliff in a new position and plots to get ahold of his forced confession tape, and Kit is reunited with Grace.

Episode 11: Spilt Milk
Grace brings Kit devastating news about the aliens’ experiments on Alma. Dr. Thredson receives an unexpected visitor. The Monsignor goes to extreme lengths to silence Jude.

Episode 12: Continuum
A deadly new inmate threatens Sister Jude’s chance of release from Briarcliff. Grace’s obsession with the aliens turns violent.

Episode 13: Madness Ends
Johnny sets out to complete his father's work. Lana leads the charge to finally shut down Briarcliff.

Season 3



Episode 1: Bitchcraft
A young teenage girl, Zoe Benson, accidentally kills her boyfriend with a genetic affliction that traces all the way back to the witches of the Salem witch trial. Zoe is taken against her will to a girl's school in New Orleans where she and others are to be trained in their gifts. However, the headmistress' mother, the Supreme, is seeking a way to maintain her youth and will go to any lengths to do so.

Episode 2: Boy Parts
When Zoe cracks from the pressure, Fiona steps in to keep the local law authorities from connecting her and Madison to the bus incident. Meanwhile, Cordelia seeks a way to become pregnant, Delphine escapes the school, and Fiona meets with Marie.

Episode 3: The Replacements
Zoe tries to reunite the resurrected Kyle with his mother, but things don't go according to plan. Meanwhile, Fiona takes Madison under her wing when the Supreme learns that the girl is her successor, and Madison and Nan visit the new next-door neighbors.

Episode 4: Fearful Pranks Ensue
On Halloween, Marie prepares to make the next attack in her war against the Coven, and the Council visits the school to investigate the disappearance of Madison, Fiona's successor. Meanwhile, Zoe tries to get through to a resurrected Kyle, and Hank gets up to no good while he's out of town.

Episode 5: Burn, Witch. Burn!
To save her schoolmates, Zoe takes command and discovers a new power. Meanwhile, Fiona deals with the aftermath of the acid attack on Cordelia and exposes the person responsible to the Council.

Episode 6: The Axeman Cometh
When the girls try to contact Madison's spirit, they inadvertently communicate with the ghost of a serial killer from New Orleans circa 1919. Meanwhile, Cordelia learns more of the secrets thanks to her new gift of The Sight, and Marie meets with her secret ally within the school.

Episode 7: The Dead
While Zoe works out sleeping arrangements with her two undead roommates, Delphine and Queenie bond over fast food, and the Axeman and Fiona bond over a shared past.

Episode 8: The Sacred Taking
Misty arrives at the school with a resurrected Myrtle, and Cordelia recruits them to help her in her attempt to dethrone Fiona and appoint a new Supreme. Meanwhile, Marie continues torturing Delphine, and someone takes a shot at the Ramseys.

Episode 9: Head
Fiona tries to form an alliance with Marie against the witch hunters, while Nan puts Joan in touch with her comatose son. Meanwhile, Madame Delphine gets a lesson in racial sensitivity.

Episode 10: The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks
Fiona brings in Stevie Nicks in order to lull the leading Supreme suspect into a false sense of security. Meanwhile, the Coven learns the truth about Hank and the Delphi Trust with some help from their new ally, Marie, and Nan learns what happened to her boyfriend Luke.

Episode 11: Protect the Coven
Fiona and Marie get a surprise at Nan's funeral when an unexpected visitor arrives. Meanwhile, Myrtle helps Zoe to escape the school, and Cordelia makes the ultimate sacrifice to save the school and her students.

Episode 12: Go to Hell
Queenie attempts to contact Papa Legba to find out what has happened to Marie, and he informs her that Delphine gained the upper hand over her tormentor. Meanwhile, Zoe and Kyle return, Cordelia and Queenie unearth Misty, and Fiona says her goodbyes to the Axeman.

Episode 13: The Seven Wonders
Four girls remain, and one of them must pass the Test of the Seven Wonders and prove that she is the Supreme.

Season 4



Episode 1: Monsters Among Us
A pair of conjoined twins are founded wounded at the scene of a brutal murder. Freak show owner Elsa Marks, desperate for a headliner act, whisks them away before the police realize that the twins may be the murderer. Meanwhile, a killer clown stalks the town of Jupiter where Elsa has established her show.

Episode 2: Massacres and Matinees
Elsa takes on performers Dell Toldeo and his wife Desiree Dupree, and puts Dell in charge of the show's security. Jimmy continues to push for the townspeople to accept him and his fellow freaks, and Dot reveals an unexpected talent that eclipses Bette's dreams of stardom. Meanwhile, Dandy makes a new friend.

Episode 3: Edward Mordrake (1)
Elsa defies superstition to rehearse on Halloween, summoning the spirit of Edward Mordrake and his ghostly band of freaks. While Edward seeks another soul to add to his coterie, Ethel discovers that she's dying, and Jimmy befriends a fortune teller who has arrived at the camp.

Episode 4: Edward Mordrake (2)
Twisty and Dandy take two more victims and perform a show. Meanwhile Edward demands to know the sins of Elsa and her performers so that he can find the one he will take for his own.

Episode 5: Pink Cupcakes
Stanley smooth-talks Elsa while planning to abduct and kill the Tattlers so he can sell their bodies to a museum. However, Elsa has her own plan for getting rid of the sisters so that she can command the spotlight. Meanwhile, Dandy picks out his first victim, and Desiree gets some encouraging medical news.

Episode 6: Bullseye
Elsa prepares for her new television show by bringing the Wheel out of storage. Meanwhile, Paul pursues romance and the Tattlers settle in to their new abode.

Episode 7: Test of Strength
After Dell attacks one of their own, the women of the camp plan revenge. Meanwhile, Stanley blackmails someone into helping him kill a freak, and Penny confronts her father.

Episode 8: Blood Bath
In the aftermath of Ma Petite's death, another member of the troupe loses their life and Elsa welcomes a new performer to the show. Meanwhile, Desiree, Suzie, and Eve vow to help Penny get revenge on her father for disfiguring her. And Gloria makes a decision concerning Dandy.

Episode 9: Tupperware Party Massacre
While Jimmy wallows in self-pity, Dandy sets out to destroy the man who deprived him of the Tattlers. Meanwhile, Desiree meets an old flame, Dell contemplates suicide, and Elsa and Stanley find the twins.

Episode 10: Orphans
A death at the camp causes Elsa to seek out a new home for Pepper. Meanwhile, Desiree has enough of Dell's failure as a husband and seeks out Angus, and Stanley lends an imprisoned Jimmy a hand.

Episode 11: Magical Thinking
A traveling salesman convinces Elsa to hire him as a magician for the freak show. While the Tattlers set their sights on the newcomer for their first sexual experience, Dell and Eve lend a hand to an imprisoned Jimmy to help him escape.

Episode 12: Show Stoppers
When Elsa and the freaks learn what Stanley has done, they exact poetic justice. Meanwhile, Elsa's former lover arrives to provide Jimmy with a new set of hands, and Maggie is besides herself with grief as she tries to make amends for her part in Stanley's plans. And Dandy gives the Tattlers important information about Chester's past.

Episode 13: Curtain Call
Dandy receives a rude awakening when he discovers that his newly acquired freaks won't perform. Meanwhile, the Tattlers contemplate marriage, while in Hollywood Elsa discovers that she's further from love than ever before.
