Chester's Mill is a place like any other. At least, it used to be. Until we were cut off from the rest of the world by a mysterious dome. Invisible, indestructible, inescapable. We don't know where it came from or why it's here, but now that we're all trapped under the dome together, none of our secrets are safe.

On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester’s Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a woman’s hand is severed as “the dome” comes down on it, and people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when—or if—it will go away.

Dale Barbara, Iraq vet with a mysterious past, is trapped in Chester's Mill and finds himself teamed with a few intrepid citizens—town newspaper editor Julia Shumway, physician’s assistant Angie McAlister, her brother Joe. Against them stands Big Jim Rennie, a politician who will stop at nothing—even murder—to hold the reins of power, and his son, who is keeping a horrible secret in a dark pantry. But their main adversary is the Dome itself. Because time isn’t just short. It’s running out.

Barbie is spared from execution when the new Dome phenomena generates an electromagnetic pulse that threatens to wipe out everyone. Meanwhile, Big Jim receives two mysterious visitors, and Julia receives help from a former EMT when a woman appears in the lake out of nowhere.

An infestation of butterflies threaten Chester Mill's food supply. While Barbie, Rebecca, and Big Jim deal with the threat to their crops, Joe and the others try to track down the killer.

Big Jim visits the town barber to get a haircut for his meeting with Rebecca., However, when red acid rain pours down, his plans are interrupted and Chester's Mill must find a way to survive what some believe is a Biblical plague. Rebecca comes up with a means to eliminate 25% of Chester's Mill's population to save the other 75%. However, she wants Big Jim to carry out the plan. Meanwhile, Barbie, Joe, and Norrie learn where Melanie came from, while Junior comes to believe that Lyle murdered Angie.

One year after the dome disappears, Barbie, Joe, and the other townspeople gather for a memorial. Meanwhile, a year earlier, Julia and Junior try to rescue Barbie and the others, but run afoul of Big Jim.

Episode 3x02: But I'm Not (Jun/25/2015)
Barbie investigates Ben's claim that something strange is going on in Chester's Mill, but Eva surprises him with unexpected news. Meanwhile, Norrie and Hunter grow closer, and Christine advises Joe to move on.

In the aftermath of the townspeople's experiences in the other reality, people begin acting strangely and Big Jim suspects that something has fundamentally changed the others. Meanwhile, the person responsible sends Melanie to kill Julia.

While Christine "guides" the townspeople in rebuilding their homes and finding food, Big Jim is abducted by an Aktaion research team. Meanwhile, Julia and Barbie have a falling out and Julia goes to Bird Island, and Norrie begins reverting to her old self.

Christine sways Eva back to her side with Junior's help, and takes steps against those resisting her attempts to bind the townspeople into a kinship. Meanwhile, Big Jim convinces Julia to help him recover the camera showing that Christine is possessed by the alien life force.

While Christine tries to convince Big Jim to help her escape Aktaion, Julia tries to convince Barbie that Christine and Eva aren't what they seem. Meanwhile, Joe and Norrie rescue hunter when the Kinship prepares to kill him now that he is crippled and a drain on their resources.

Big Jim, Julia, Joe, Norrie and Hunter join together to form a resistance against Christine, who is mobilizing residents to work on a massive excavation project in the caves underneath the town. Also, Hunter uses his tech skills to contact the outside world.

Control over the town by initiating a life-or-death plot involving Barbie and Eva, while Joe and Norrie conduct research to better understand the Dome's ultimate agenda. Meanwhile, Hunter finds more information about the true head of Aktaion, the nefarious private corporation that wants to harness the Dome's energy.

Episode 3x10: Legacy (Aug/20/2015)
The nefarious head of Aktaion. Despite Hektor revealing more about the Dome's origins and helping to strike back at it, Big Jim and Julia still worry he will betray them. Meanwhile, Hunter receives encrypted files that give disturbing insights into the final effect the Dome will have on the infected townspeople.

Episode 3x11: Love Is A Battlefield (Aug/27/2015)
The head of Aktaion, to test a possible cure for infected townspeople. Also, Joe chooses to work with Christine after she shares some shocking information about the entity behind the Dome.

Episode 3x12: Incandescence (Sep/03/2015)
Who is adamant that infected townspeople never escape the Dome.

Episode 3x13: The Enemy Within (Sep/10/2015)
As the Dome in Chester's Mill comes down, the Resistance makes a final attempt to protect the outside world from the infected townspeople in the Kinship and their new queen.
