About The Last Ship
The Last Ship is an action-packed drama series, based on the popular novel by William Brinkley. In the series, After a global pandemic kills or sickens over 50 percent of the world's population, the crew (consisting of 217 men and women) of a lone unaffected U.S. Navy guided missile destroyer, the fictional USS Nathan James (DDG-151), must try to find a cure and stop the virus in order to save humanity.

The ship manages to become trapped between a blockade and a formidable sub. Chandler attempts to protect Dr. Scott and the cure by getting them off the ship as an unavoidable showdown with the sub comes closer.

Episode 2x13: A More Perfect Union (Sep/06/2015)
The crew put out a message to civilians to receive the cure at pre-selected ports. Immune factions attempt to fight the spread of the cure.
