Feed the Beast tells the story of Tommy and Dion who are like brothers. Dion can't stay out of trouble. Tommy can't move past it. For two friends on the brink of losing everything, a dusty pipe dream of opening up an upscale restaurant in their hometown of the Bronx is all they have left to turn their lives around. Together, they take on the insanity of the New York restaurant world, and navigate its underbelly of petty criminals, corrupt officials and violent mobsters.

Feed the Beast has been canceled after one season, EW has confirmed. The news comes precisely one month after the AMC crime drama 10-episode freshman run ended.

“We have great respect and admiration for the entire team associated with Feed the Beast, starting with Clyde Phillips, David Schwimmer, Jim Sturgess, and our studio partner, Lionsgate,” AMC said in a statement Friday. “We are thankful for the opportunity to collaborate with them and appreciative of their talents, dedication and care. Unfortunately, the show simply didn’t achieve the results needed to move forward with a second season.”

Feed the Beast starred David Schwimmer (The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story) and Jim Sturgess (Close to the Enemy, Cloud Atlas) as Tommy Moran and Dion Patras, two best friends who make a last-ditch effort to follow their dreams by opening a New York restaurant. The actors have yet to address the cancelation.

Another predictable one from the storyline down to the mobsters.

The two lead actors and the rest of the kitchen staff were good. But, how did the actress who played Pilar get that role? She was terrible beyond belief.
