I am glad she got her own show

Great extended opener episode and she really is a good mediator but the revelation about the car accident was good i figured it out when she saw the photo.. i have say i like her living situation

I like the show
I think it was good and funny
but her day is really busy
Leo is great and I love the wizard of oz tunes on the phone
And  the ending was great, telling Justin she had company and letting him draw the wrong conclusions...
Can't wait to see the next epi

Well that was interesting suggestion for guy who was in prison 22 years and was found innocent but look like Teddy had one final secret he took to the ground which illegitimate Child none of his family knew about   .

Good episode but not as interesting as the pilot.

She changed her ring tones or something.  The Step-mom having trouble going into her husbands office gave us a human feel to her.   LOVE the asst. leo.  He's great.

Illigitimate child...Nice.

Steve was very laid back considering he had spent 22 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit and smashing up the shop may of helped his frustration but nice result from Kate where they all looked happy
Author: bala    Time: 1-28-2011 13:06     Subject: Reply 21#21 codebreaker's post

Yes he was but i think he just face reality and Kate made him do that
Author: kellemanske    Time: 1-28-2011 13:14     Subject: Reply 20#20 arksongbird80's post

well, basically Smith could be anyone, but an illigitimate child would be the most logical explanation.
I think it was a good cliffhanger and I loved the negotiation. I figured Steve would get the lot behind the store, but all the rest I wouldn't have guessed.
I like it that there is always a little negotiation and that she is always standing before the building when she turns around, but it isn't always realistic that this is all happening to her.
I'm beginning to like Lauren more because now at least she looks human and I love the new secretary.

Another good episode but i love how they used flashback put the case into context but the coach hitting the father was deserved

I really enjoyed the pilot of this show. Now it's just like all the other's.  The coach hitting the father was good.  The toast at the end was funny, if not a bit random.  I would watch a scene and then feel like they just cut away from it.  Annoying.  The funny phone thing from the first episode has been dropped.  I feel like they gave us too much back story and now they don't know where to go.

The step mom and the aussie were funny and kate thinking she had gone nice, but really it was about funny was good.

The kid being on drugs was expected.  The father supplying them not!

Author: codebreaker    Time: 3-20-2011 08:16     Subject: Reply 60#60 bala's post

Kate investigating her best friend Julie's future husband for her father only to prove him wrong was interesting, what she uncovered shocks everyone but Kate punching him in the nose was amusing, the sandwich girl getting the figures signed was a nice gesture
Author: kellemanske    Time: 3-21-2011 13:27

About what Kate is doing to Justin: I think that one is pretty clear. She still loves him, which is the reason that she didn't want to sign the divorcepapers and the reason why she was upset when Justin told her he didn't come to the boot for her alone, but because he had a meeting nearby.
But I think that Justin made some good points in a previous episode as to why they need to get divorced and why they have to stop this. And in next epi that will probably be handled. But I still like Kate and Justin together.

USA's 'Fairly Legal' Renewed For Season 2, Will Undergo Creative Changes

USA is keeping its streak of renewing every new series alive with a second-season pickup for Fairly Legal. The top cable network will make the announcement at its upfront presentation in New York later today. Production on 13 new episodes will begin in late summer for a premiere in the first quarter of 2012. While a solid performer -- Fairly Legal launched as the top new cable drama of the year in adults 18-49 and has averaged a 4.6 million total viewers in Live+7 -- the legal dramedy has not been a breakout series like most of USA's recent entries. The renewal decision was made based on the show's appealing star, Sarah Shahi, and its potential, USA's co-presidents Jeff Wachtel and Chris McCumber said. "We think there is a creative and audience upside to the show," Wachtel said. "Not every first season is the best, and we think it is a show that can do better." He didn't elaborate, but I hear the network is planning changes in the series' creative direction for Season 2. McCumber singled out the series' "breakout star," Shahi, and defended its ratings performance, noting that the series did well against stiff competition in the Thursday 10 PM time slot. Created by Michael Sardo, Fairly Legal centers on mediator Kate Reed (Shahi). It co-stars are Michael Trucco, Virginia Williams and Baron Vaughn. Sardo is exec producing with Steve Stark for Universal Cable Prods.
