Grimm Premiered on NBC on October 21, 2011



Remember the fairy tales your parents used to tell you before bedtime? Well, those weren't stories, they were warnings.

Detective Nick Burkhardt thought he was ready for the grim reality of working homicide in Portland, Oregon. That is, until he started to see things... things he couldn't quite explain. Like a gorgeous woman suddenly transforming into a hideous hag, or an average Joe turning into a vicious troll. Then, after a panicked visit from his only living relative, Nick discovers the truth about his visions: he's not like everyone else, he's a descendant of an elite group of hunters known as "Grimms" who are charged with stopping the proliferation of supernatural creatures in the world. And so begins his new life journey - albeit a reluctant one at first - as he solves crimes with his partner who knows something about Nick has radically changed but can't quite put his finger on it. Along the way, Nick finds himself unexpectedly getting help on some of the more difficult cases from Monroe, a guy who seems normal at first but is soon revealed to be what you might call a "big bad wolf." Literally!

While the Brothers Grimm wrote fairy tales that children have adored for generations, imagine if the villains were real, and Nick was the only one who could stop them.

From executive producers David Greenwalt (Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Jim Kouf (Angel, National Treasure) comes a new world of police work where all cases have a storybook connection... but not always happily ever after.

I liked this epi with the bloodbot protecting his grandfathers killer and Ann-Marie got a great way of dying

Gilda and her boyfriend who broke into the home were unfortunate to break in to the wrong house and the punk threatening them about being in a bad neighborhood, i would of liked to of seen his face when she attacked him and Eddy saying that went too far after ripping his arm off was priceless

Good title and what an amusing start on the tram but the consequences were deadly, how can Nick tell the good from the bad at this early stage of his powers as a Grimm

In a move I certainly didn't see coming at the beginning of the fall season (the show was one of my Dead Pool entries), NBC has ordered a full season of Grimm, according to Entertainment Weekly. With a full 22-episode order, it's the network's only new hour-long drama to receive a full-season pickup.

I liked this episode quite a bit.  I thought the fued between the pigs and wolves was hilarious.  Still not getting why Angelica needs to kill the pigs brothers.  Surely she had a reason....I would hope other than "i was bored."  

I would like to see Grimm do something other than be a Grimm and police officer.  They run from him and he just kinda takes it.  Let's see some character development.

Yeah this was a good episode but what a twist the pigs get revenge on the wolf about bloody time but she was a bit crazy wasn't she .

Can you imagine finding the teacher who was gnawed to death by rats but the way the rats followed Geiger after being framed, it was like the Pied Piper of Hamelin and it was a shame for Sarah but the other got what they deserved plus their confession

No, What happened was that i forgot to comment on that episode and than next episode aired a day later so we had 2 episode almost back to back i realized i didn't comment on it and for some reason i couldn't remember what that episode was about because new episode replaced what i was going type so your comment gave me the flashback as to what the episode was about   . If this makes any sense

Nick was lucky he put the water on to boil and Juliette was able to use it to save them but she wont feel safe anymore, Eddie saving Hank without him knowing was great

The Bat SH* crazy mouse was just not that interesting.  Now his girlfriend finding out about Grimms is a good start.  That's going to be interesting.  The Reapers are kewl.  Kicking the bluebloods butt was a nice change.  We'll see....

Marty standing up for the kid in the restaurant was predictable but dragging Natalie with him afterwards was terrible and Juliette going to the truck owner's address was interesting considering the way the woman ran inside with the kids and poor Eddie getting beat up

Nick taking a gun to an egg fight was a little over the top and Ryan got more than he bargained for when he tried to seduce Lena but loosing her finger was interesting especially when it moved in Nick's hand and i had a feeling by the time they caught her the finger would of grown back but catching he in the fishing net was a little corny

this was great.  More info on nick.  enough grimm activity to be interesting and the hitler scene at the end was fabulous!!  It's all connected in one way or another.  Apprently Grimms have stronger constitutions than most.

Never did hear how the jewelry clerk got the coins.   Hmmm

Getting Eddie to agrees to go undercover to find out the arena's address was predictable but Nick going in the ring to save him was impressive

NBC’s ‘Grimm’ Renewed For Second Season



NBC has renewed freshman drama Grimm for a second season. That may be be the first of several early pickups of existing series at the network, though despite rumors, nothing else is expected to come down today. A low-key addition to the schedule on Friday, Grimm has held its own, even growing when given a chance to run uninterrupted for several weeks. Created by David Greenwalt, Jim Kouf and Stephen Carpenter, Grimm stars David Giuntoli as a homicide detective who is also a Grimm, hunting supernatural baddies. It is produced by Universal TV and Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner’s Hazy Mills Prods. This is the first NBC series to get a renewal for next season. The move comes on the heels of CBS picking up 15 shows earlier this week.

Nick trying to explain why Ariel answered his phone was amusing considering she was an exotic fire-dancer but finding her in his bed was a little creepy and Juliette being taken by her i thought would take some explaining and seeing the bitch isn't dead should be interesting

I agree.  I really liked her. Level headed cautious without being shy.  I would certainly be glad to see her and bluebot get their shag on!!  

This episode was just...okay.  Eatting the couch was funny!  Poor guy.  I was surprised when they figured out the mojo thing that made the asian sick, they didn't try and figure out who the intended was.  Great detecting there boys.

It's a good job Adalind's mother was really there when Hank rang from out side and Wu still under the effects of the drug meant for Hank was amusing especially the fibber diet or should I of said carpet fibber and how corny asking Nick what have you done when she was the one who bit his lip

Juliette asking Nick to invite Eddie over for dinner to thank him for saving her life was interesting but why they found it so hard to pretend to be friends in front of her and the two heads are better than one was a great way to send a message and all the gifts was amusing

This show is interesting.  I wouldn't say good unless Monroe is in scene.  Good times!

I HATE HATE HATE that he asked Juliette to marry him-she said NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and yet some how they are OK!  Honkey Dory.   I am beyond annoyed that they have glossed this whole thing over.  Grrr

LIked that Monroe has a new girl friend/person and I read that her character has been asked to being a full-time person next season.   YAY

What an absolutely fabulous finale.  Juliette wanted the truth and then "she couldn't handle the truth!!". Lol.    

So love the lady in black!  Her reveal was great.  I had already figured her as a family member just not specific.  

So the sleep thing is snow white or did she wake up bat sh** crazy?!?  Hmmm.

Nick and Eddie protecting Larry's identity was nice but Juliette doing her own investigation is going to bring her and Hank both come closer to Nick's secret life but Hank's face when the doctor changed back was priceless

It was obvious when it came time for Nick to explain the truth to Juliette that she wouldn't believe him but fainting just before Eddie changed was a little corny and his mother still alive will be an interesting story for next season

Love that Monroe/gf are accepted w his mom!  Bring her back soon.
