A hard-hitting new thriller series explores the world of police corruption. When a counterterrorism raid goes tragically wrong, Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott refuses to participate in a cover-up.
Ostracised by colleagues, he transfers to an anti-corruption unit, AC-12, led by Superintendent Ted Hastings.
AC-12 is in the process of investigating one of the force’s most respected officers, Detective Chief Inspector Tony Gates. Not only has Gates just been awarded his regional force’s Officer of the Year commendation, his squad has returned the best crime figures for three consecutive years. Hastings is convinced that no one can be that good. Uncomfortable in his new role, Arnott initially questions the whole enterprise - but Hastings is convinced that no-one achieves those results by wholly legitimate means.
But Gates’ secret is something altogether unexpected. Appearing to be a devoted family man, he is conducting a passionate affair with an old flame, Jackie Laverty. When Jackie implores him to help cover up a minor traffic offence, Gates reluctantly agrees.
Gates’ squad, TO-20, is nicknamed 'the big, sexy crime unit' and includes Detective Sergeant Matt 'Dot' Cottan, Detective Constable Nigel Morton and Detective Constable Deepak Kapoor. Under pressure to have a more gender-balanced team, Gates agrees to give Detective Constable Kate Fleming a trial on TO-20. A talented detective, Kate soon wins Gates’ approval - and then starts winning his trust.
When Arnott delves into Gates’ case files, Gates is confident of seeing off the investigation. But that’s before he realises that Jackie’s minor traffic offence may have been something altogether more serious.
Well this certainly different show than i thought it was going to be but it should be intresting how it will get out of control that women is going be his downfall but delete the links after the other guy see them should make him suspious. What a colossus mistake shooting the father while holding his baby and all because they thought it was flat 56 instead of 59 with the 9 upside down and it was obvious Jackie knew she hit a man and not a dog, who would of thought the free breakfast was such a big issue when he caught the muggers Author: codebreaker Time: 7-5-2012 15:49
I assume the burglar was trying to jump in the canal water and interviewing the waitress about who Tony was having breakfast with cleaver, what a cliffhanger and frame up but the title of the next episode is a spoiler Author: codebreaker Time: 7-5-2012 17:03
I was surprised to see him up and about by the time the others arrived but taking the glass and cleaning the bottle has starting to make Steve act desperate but the cops loosing the car and Tony getting taken was a little careless, telling them all different lies about were the glass was to find out who was leaking information was sneaky Author: bala Time: 7-13-2012 01:07 Subject: Reply 9#9 codebreaker's post
Yes look like he has given up which is so sad and the fact that he was smart hide the glass in a police station dishwasher was rather smart. Author: codebreaker Time: 7-13-2012 02:54 Subject: Reply 10#10 bala's post
I can see Steve finding that glass but without any prints or DNA he cant prove who took it Author: codebreaker Time: 7-19-2012 09:38 Subject: 1x04 Episode 4
Kate is doing a great job at gaining Tony's confidence were Steve was failing and Morton being interrogated was interesting considering he has his suspicions about Kate but Cottan being the first to talk was a surprise and Steve didn't deserve that
PS being from Birmingham recognising Aston fire station as the one Tony broke into was interesting Author: codebreaker Time: 7-19-2012 09:39

I thought when Tony got home and found the dog that they might of taken his wife and kids, Morton spitting on Kate was a surprise and Kate's interview with Ryan was interesting but the confession in the car was great, the end was a surprise with the death of Tony and who the real bent copper was Author: bala Time: 7-25-2012 06:34 Subject: Reply 15#15 codebreaker's post

I didn't realise this would be a new storyline but for most part Denton look innocent until that phone call and those cop pushing her head in toilet was awful . Author: codebreaker Time: 2-13-2014 11:49

That was a violent ambush of the police convoy and I was surprised the two in the back climbed out on fire as they were shot first and Denton having her head flushed down the toilet by her own colleagues was a discusting but Denton lying about who choose the route does make her look guilty and attacking the neighbour was surprising until what happened at the hospital and looks like she's a cold blooded killer Author: bala Time: 2-20-2014 07:29 Subject: Episode 2
Just when i thought Denton was going to get caught turning tables on them was amazing but whoever the protective witness was it must been important based on their reaction Author: codebreaker Time: 2-24-2014 03:17 Subject: 2x02 Episode 2
I thought Denton was going to pour that hot saucepan on her neighbour but the way she turned the tables after she was about to be arrested was incredible Author: codebreaker Time: 2-24-2014 03:18

Denton first week in jail was horrible and this really doesn't show prison system in a good light but if in fact she's innocent this would worst Author: codebreaker Time: 3-3-2014 14:55 Subject: Reply 29#29 bala's post
Denton in prison was never going to be easy as she's a cop but telling the guards to answer yes or no about shit in her dinner was amusing and Kate going to see the husband by herself first was suspicious but Mike Dryden has gone to the top of the suspect list now Author: codebreaker Time: 3-3-2014 14:56

Hastings sucking up to Mike Dryden so not to spoil his chance of promotion was sickening but with the police thinking Lindsay on run and not kidnapped by fellow officers it's not looking good for he as these officers are killers Author: codebreaker Time: 3-13-2014 18:34
Hastings being reluctant to let them arrest Mike Dryden was predictable but could Mike also be being framed after a sexual relationship with 15 year old and I was surprised Lindsay didn't kill the officer Author: codebreaker Time: 3-21-2014 07:19
Nigel walking with a limp and a walking stick only to sprint away when challenged was surprising, Lindsay being re-arrested after finding the money was understandable but the fact she changed the route at the last minute does make you think she changed her mind about the ambush and moved the tracker after the crash as that was how they found them so quickly to shift the suspicion Author: codebreaker Time: 2-8-2016 13:28
Danny forcing his team to lie after he killed the unarmed victim was sickening and you just knew Arnott and the team would tear their story apart but Danny quoting all the statistics was over the top and I had a feeling Danny would try and kill on of his team with the stolen gun but him getting shot was karma Author: codebreaker Time: 3-25-2016 07:32
Danny dying from the gun shot was surprising as he was under investigation for the last shooting but the other being suspected of his death was understandable and Lindsay being back in court over the money found was surprising as that case was a couple of years ago Author: codebreaker Time: 4-4-2016 12:49
Looks like Danny killed the first guy because he abused him as a boy but his team mates killing him after making them lie for him was unfortunate but why Cottan is tampering with evidence is a mystery and Lindsay getting released is going to make things interesting Author: codebreaker Time: 4-9-2016 08:45
Looks like Lindsay Denton has Steve Arnott by the balls but I think the phone recording was a bluff and Cottan was starting to look worried when they processed the envelop he took the note from, you would of though Lindsay's care worker knew she was ones a copper so asking for sexual favours for money really was a bad idea Author: codebreaker Time: 4-22-2016 01:55
Cottan trying to make Arnott look guilty was a sneaky move and with him just being awarded for bravery he does seem untouchable at the moment and being worried by Arnott's contact with Lindsay taking matters into his own hands was a sign of desperation and Lindsay getting in Cottan's car was going to have shattering consequences Author: codebreaker Time: 4-28-2016 21:24
Cottan killing Lindsay was sad but at least she sent the list of names first and using Steve's car was a brilliant move as you knew they would arrest Steve, Cottan having an answer for almost every question was impressive but Cottan making a run for it was a surprise and Kate went beyond the call of duty to stop him
