Primeval: New World Premieres on SPACE on October 29, 2012



PRIMEVAL: NEW WORLD follows the story of a North American team that discovers dinosaurs and other dangerous predators emerging onto the streets of modern-day Vancouver through anomalies in time. EVAN CROSS (Niall Matter), visionary inventor, heads up the team - predator control expert DYLAN WEIR (Sara Canning), security specialist MAC RENDELL (Danny Rahim), and physics prodigy TOBY NANCE (Crystal Lowe). ANGE FINCH (Miranda Frigon), Evan's oldest friend and business partner, keeps Cross Photonics afloat while Evan and his Special Projects Group track escapee dinosaurs, with the overeager help of LIEUTENANT KEN LEEDS (Geoff Gustafson), head of the government’s decommissioned department for investigating alien life and other mysteries - including Anomalies. Throughout Season 1, the characters quickly gain expertise in the prehistoric creatures they hunt, the weapons they need to handle them, and the nature of the Anomalies themselves. They face danger side by side, and come to rely on each other for not only survival, but comfort and intimacy as well.

Connor being able to get into the facility was too easy and his excuse on the way out was terrible and telling Evan to leave it alone was to little information but him having his own secrets should be interesting

This was okay.  I like premise so I'll keep watching.  I hoped they would have the original come back on.  Supposidly 2013 is when it will come on again.  Loved seeing Conner!   I miss him.   Okay first episode.  Alot of Dino's in first episode.

Well they really jumped into this without any background but it was ok episode but i am surprised there isn't a primeval team in other countries you would think they would have they own team rather it being created like this. Consider this is spin-off they no need to create the team for scratch. Just my opinion.

Evan going down the storm drain after the giant snake was stupid and Mac jumping into the water with his plan F was dangerous but did the job

I first thought the bird would be high on drugs but Evan and Dylan getting detained looking for the anomaly by the pair of drug dealers was predictable but using the drugs to drug the bird was quick thinking

It's a good job the university campus library was closed and trust the guard to open the van but Samantha also getting killed was tragic as she was so happy to be helping out

Yeah i can't believe how death count on this show is increasing . On UK show they hardly killed someone.

Trying to outwit the pack of small but smart dinosaur was interesting but the half body in the anomaly was disgusting

Well i felt this was ok episode but it was interesting about possible love interest consider the secret the team does . i just hope they don't make it into love triangle with the team.

Yeah it would be but consider how many people have died and Neil only has himself to blame if he didn't expose her to what he does she wouldn't of been in danger. Evan warned him and he didn't listen.

What a great title for the episode but seriously did they have to make her into lesbian . Well i think she might be Bi but i am just annoyed because you know they did this for ratings . It's a one-off situation . Has anyone notice how in every episode we learnt something about each character relationship to each other.

The one thing i like Primeval was that the show focused on abnormalities and government conspiracy which made it good but this spin-off is really a water down version where they seem more interested in character romantic life than actual sci-fi aspect of this series.

I suppose Canadian and US audience prefer this type over what UK audience prefer.

Evan having the dinosaur spit in his face was disgusting but his hallucinations were interesting as we learnt about his past and Mac seeing himself frozen must of been freaky, Ange playing along when she realised Evan thought she was his wife was quick thinking

I agree with the Watered down idea of the series.  not ALL americans want the romance and I really wasn't into the lesbian thing.  Kinda lame.  I liked the Anomaly's!  The Sci-fi part.

I'm glad to see they want to try and fix the world as it is a noble ambition.  I'm not really sure what the CFO is doing there.  I thought she was done with the whole lot of them.  When will A.R.C show up!!!    heheheheheheh

What an interesting dilema with Evan and Dylan chasing the creature back through the anomaly to get a sample of its venom to save Toby after being stung and with the amount of different anomaly but how ironic that Evan has a chance to save her when he goes back in time and the cliffhanger was predictable as it's a two part episode

Connor back and he was great but what a cliffhanger what has changed should make for an interesting second season if this et renewed. Glad Toby fine and Mac saving Evan again was bound change the future

Nice way to bring Connor back with his anomaly in London taking him to same place as the others and what a dilemma stopping the dinosaur that killed Evan's wife before it did it could have catastrophic effects

LOVED seeing conner!  That was great. Killing the dinosaur caused something, I wonder what it did?  Poor Mac going through the anomoly knowing he was going to die.   I wonder what conner ment when he said "see ya in a bit".  When he asked the date they said 2012.  I was lead to believe they are from the future....as in 2013 or something else...Hmm

Will this get renewed?!?
