Some Girls Premiered on BBC Three on November 06, 2012
Some Girls is about the lives and loves of a group of quirky 16-year-old girls who play on the same school football team and live on the same inner city estate. We join them on their bumpy journey through adolescence, taking in boys, sex, cliques, teachers, heartbreak, fun and even some football along the way.
At the heart of the comedy is Viva (Adelayo Adedayo), whose ambition is to stay motivated and go to college. She lives with her dad Rob (Colin Salmon) and her stepmother Anna (Dolly Wells), a New Zealander who also happens to be Viva's sadistic PE teacher.
Viva is great friends with Holli (Natasha Jonas) whose entertaining, violent outbursts are legendary. Saz (Mandeep Dhillon) and Amber (Alice Felgate) complete the gang. They talk about everything from history homework to their ambitions in life. They share everything: their clothes, their moods, their secrets and - occasionally - their mothers' tranquillisers.
How ironic that Amber was having trouble dumping her boyfriend only to be dumped by him but having his sex moans as her ring tone was amusing and I'm not surprised Viva was upset with her dad when he's banging her teacher Author: codebreaker Time: 12-16-2012 07:04

Rocky kissing Holli to make Viva jealous was a little juvenile but Saz and Amber both after the same boy is only going to end badly, Holli and the can of coke was priceless and Brandon trying to make out with Viva was terrible Author: codebreaker Time: 10-7-2013 14:43

Being on the short-listed to feature in a television documentary series was surprising especially being a Channel 4 show and Viva attempting to mend the relationship between Amber and her sister Topaz was nice but only on the understanding she gets free hair extensions was amusing and Topaz showing her tattoo to Rocky was priceless Author: codebreaker Time: 3-24-2015 06:18

Holli having enough money to buy back her Mum's jewellery before her Dad got out of prison was short lived but flashing the money she was asking to be mugged, the girl getting rid of their prom limo to save the money for her was nice and Rocky getting the stolen money back was an added bounce
