One of the most fascinating literary characters comes to life on television for the first time: psychiatrist-turned-serial killer, Dr. Hannibal Lecter. In this new drama from Bryan Fuller (" Pushing Daisies," "Heroes"), based on the characters from Thomas Harris' classic novels, we see where this incredible story began.

Will Graham is a gifted criminal profiler who is on the hunt for a serial killer with the FBI. Graham's unique way of thinking gives him the astonishing ability to empathize with anyone - even psychopaths. He seems to know what makes them tick. But when the mind of the twisted killer he's pursuing is too complicated for even Will to comprehend, he enlists the help of Dr. Lecter, one of the premier psychiatric minds in the country. Well this really had criminal minds feel to this show but Will having the ability reverse engineer a murder scene was rather impressive and would Sherlock Holmes to shame because all he has to do close eyes and tell you how the person got murdered. They really cast a creepy actor as Hannibal he really is odd.

Well Will trying to get over killing that suspect from first episode was good but that reporter certainly put Will in danger.

At first looks this felt like Dexter with a touch of Criminal Minds but Will and Hannibal joining forces to track down the killer was a bad idea as the anonymous phone call cost another life

The murderer who buried his victims alive to grow mushrooms was disturbing especially with the amount of bodies but who would of thought the reporters story would get a n agent fired and then killed

This show just get more stranger i mean no murder it just didn't add anything to story. I know teenage got killed but there really wasn't any resolution because Hannibal hide the body and covered for the girl. The fact that other person didn't figure it was hannibal who knocked her out was a surprise.

Abigail's friends murder was tragic as it looked like the copycat killer had struck again and that reporter making life harder for them was predictable but Hannibal suggests they hide the body to protect Abigail was a clever way to get her to trust him

As NBC have pulled this episode and cannibalized into a six part web episode I still want to watch in the order intended, Hannibal looks like he eats well but I wouldn't want dinner at his place and how was Hannibal allowed to checks Abigail out of the hospital to stop with him and she was brave taking his hallucinogenic drink

We look after our grandson and take him to nursery when his dad goes to work and that can be any time from about 4am but usually 7am

Making angels out of the bodies was a little disturbing and the job must be taking it's toll Will with the sleepwalking

Comparing the six web clips to the missing full episode I cant believe how much was missing but killing the four family members while sitting at the dinner table was bizarre as you would of expected one of them to try and run until Will determines they were conducted by each of the familie's missing children

Being a model prisoner for two years only to kill the nurse like that was interesting as the patient committed the murder that matched The Ripper but I'm not surprised Hannibal had a hand in there somewhere

Well it's clear he's taking advantage of Will's condition but setting him to kill his female collgue just to push Will over is certainly wrong but glad Will got there in time.

Georgia not wanting to remember what she had done was understandable but burning to death because of a static spark was a gruesome way to die and Hannibal making an astonishing admission to Abigail was a surprise but with him about to kill her it makes no difference

Hannibal and Jack's fight at the start was great but the twelve weeks earlier was a little slow and with the polyethylene hanging out the trunk it was obvious he was going to be the next victim

Jack crashing Hannibal's dinner party to collect evidence to test the meat for human DNA was bound to happen after all the speculation but Hannibal's having an alibi for the latest murder was impressive as she had no idea she was drugged

It was obvious Miriam wouldn't be able to identify Hannibal and where she was found wouldn't help to identify him but Miriam killing Hannibal's scapegoat wraps things up nicely for now

The woman's body being discovered inside of a horse was disturbing and the bird still alive inside her was surprising but Will going back to Hannibal was the only thing he could do to keep him close

Mason deciding what to do with his sister, Margot was disturbing as he didn't want her to have a child but Freddie still being alive was a surprise

NBC has stuck a fork in Hannibal.

The Peacock network has cancelled Bryan Fuller’s acclaimed, lush thriller, TVLine has confirmed.
The show’s current third season — slated to wrap up in late August — will be its last

“NBC has allowed us to craft a television series that no other broadcast network would have dared, and kept us on the air for three seasons despite Cancellation Bear Chow ratings and images that would have shredded the eyeballs of lesser Standards & Practices enforcers,” Fuller said in a statement. “[NBC president] Jen Salke and her team have been fantastic partners and creatively supportive beyond measure.
“Hannibal is finishing his last course at NBC’s table this summer,” Fuller added, “but a hungry cannibal can always dine again. And personally, I look forward to my next meal with NBC.”

NBC issued its own statement, saying, “We have been tremendously proud of Hannibal over its three seasons. Bryan and his team of writers and producers, as well as our incredible actors, have brought a visual palette of storytelling that has been second to none in all of television — broadcast or cable. We thank Gaumont and everyone involved in the show for their tireless efforts that have made Hannibal an incredible experience for audiences around the world.”
NBC’s decision to pass on a Season 4 hardly comes as a surprise, given Hannibal’s eroding ratings. The June 11 episode notched a series-low 1.7 million viewers and a 0.5 in the demo.

You cant blame Reba for trying to run but shooting himself after setting fire to the house did seem like a blessing as she was able to escape but the fact he used her blindness as a way to fake his death was impressive and I guess that final fight killed the three of them
