Shetland Premiered on BBC One on March 10, 2013
Shetland is a drama series adapted from the series of books by award-winning crime writer Ann Cleeves. The murder-mystery is set against the stunning backdrop of the Shetland Islands and centres on Detective Jimmy Perez played by Douglas Henshall.
Perez and his team being at the centre of two feuding families after the elderly woman was shot on her land was interesting and stopping the dig after they find a set of human remains did seem suspicious as it could of been an ancient find and Hattie being murdered was predictable after the broken phone call Author: codebreaker Time: 3-12-2013 13:26
Nice conclusion to the two murders and I had a felling it was because of the human remains the the killer didn't want identifying but the daughter being the killer because she didn't want her father to die in prison was an interesting twist Author: codebreaker Time: 2-24-2014 23:42

The young girl's body being found on the secluded beach was sad and as the tied was coming in they had to rush to preserve evidence but reopening a past case to solve the new one was interesting as there are a few suspects

The young man was lucky to meet the girl as nobody would of known he disappeared on the ferry crossing and the small boy ends up in intensive care from the pills he found on the beach was tragic but the two cases being linked was predictable, the boy dying in the container was tragic Author: codebreaker Time: 1-17-2016 10:45
You can understand why Jimmy was pissed after being blocked from the investigation into the boys death and finding out he tried to claw his way out of the container was disturbing, Jimmy being convinced that Michael is involved was understandable with the different alibis and trying to get his fingerprints was hard work but the girl dropping those sweets has put herself in danger and what a tragic ending Author: codebreaker Time: 1-25-2016 04:53

Looks like Phyllis's son was responsible for the first rape and I wouldn't of blamed Perez if he had hit the lawyer but arresting him there and then was surprising, Asha being involved with the cover up would of been disappointing with Perez getting close to her but Leanne stabbing Asha and the death on the ferry was unbelievable
