Ironside (2013) Premieres on NBC on October 02, 2013

In the gritty world of the NYPD, no one's tougher than Detective Robert Ironside. He's a fearless cop who won't stop until the guilty are brought to justice. He and his trusted, handpicked team of specialists will do whatever it takes to solve New York's most difficult and notorious crimes - even if it means breaking the rules.

Tough, sexy and acerbic, Ironside's never been afraid to call it like he sees it. As a detective, his instincts are second to none, and those around him have to stay on their toes if they want to keep up... because when his spine was shattered by a bullet two years ago, Ironside swore he'd never let a damn wheelchair slow him down.

Justice. Nothing gets in his way. Blair Underwood stars in a bold new drama about a different kind of cop. One-hour drama.

Robert using a little police brutality in the back of the car was wrong but the results were impressive and the fact he cave him his knife was amusing and the flashbacks to before the wheelchair was a nice touch but know wonder his partner was having a hard time as he was responsible, shooting the hostage was an interesting approach but at leased they are both alive

Well i thought this was typical cop series and it wasn't a bad pilot but i just wasn't impressed with the episode.

The case wasn't interesting but it turned out suicide wasn't  great either. The hostage situation was quite good but again promo ruined that scene so we knew what was going happen.

Robert seem to be a bit troubled about his situation and fact he pretending he's ok when he keep reliving the situation over and over in his head isn't going help him. I can see he will make a mistake.

Shouldn't this have been moved to Action rather than Comedy

Well this was a good second episode trying serial knife slicer but witness turning kidnapped girl who's uncle helped to protect her from her stepdad was nice distraction.

It was kind of obvious who was the serial killer, but the story of the uncle was nice.

Robert asking the guys girlfriend when she's ready to trade up was amusing as he put him on the floor for being a jerk and spotting the couple fleeing the scene as the victim died was lucky as the girl had been missing for years but the killer posing his work on-line was disturbing

Who would thought Robert giving a lift to his friend would lead to murder case . The undercover operation didn't exactly go to plan but Robert going in when he realised one gunman was already at the table.

Ironside and Holly was lucky to be outside when the robbery went down but what bad timing for the taxi to stop in-front of the getaway car

I just read that.  Haven't seen any episodes yet, but I'm a little disappointed.  I've been DVRing the show & was planning to watch it in one go.  Don't know if I want to bother now.  I hate when they cancel shows so quickly that they don't get an opportunity to gain an audience.  I'm not sure if this show fits into that category, but it still irks me that the chop comes so quickly.

Virgil threatening the suspect for intimidating the witness was stupid considering she refused police protection but getting him in the hospital was great

Who would of thought the rooftop chase would turn into a homicide when he dropped the money in the ally where the arm was then found but harassing the bikers was amusing

Well when an episode started with a chase you kind of knew it would lead to another case but the fact that they couldn't arrest him meant Ironside going biker boss to get justice was interesting.

I thought he was going to fall between the buildings rather than drop the money on the body parts

Well Ironside trying get a confession out a guy who he set up 8 years ago and couldn't was sad consider how far he went to frame him

Robert framing him 8 years ago for the robbery was crazy and then following him for two days seemed a waste of time until the attempted shooting but one of the shooters escaped was unbelievable

A bus kidnapping leading to comic book ransom was interesting but this has to be a first suspect hanging upside down and when cop told him to come down he did   .

Well the boss trying take over Ironside case because suspect were Marines but i am glad he was able talk him down when cornered .

Loosing a finger was a small price to pay for the credit card fraud but buying rare comics to hide the money was crafty

It was hard to decide at first if the Captain wanted them Marines to escape

Well sending Ironside a bomb because he tried intimidate him but Ironside turn it around on him was brilliant.
Author: codebreaker    Time: 12-22-2013 08:47     Subject: 1x09 Hidden Agenda

The campus cop being responsible for the bomb and blaming it on another was going to be tough to prove but the way Robert got under his skin I'm not surprised he sent him one but making him sit next to the bomb was great

PS as this is the 9th episode I'm sure this is also the last one
