Salem Premiered on WGN America on March 25, 2014



Salem, which is picked up by WGN America, is set in Massachusetts in the 17th Century. WGN America's new president, Matt Cherniss describes that "Salem" will revolve around the witch trials in Salem, Massachusetts and that a great adventure full of supernatural, romance, and action awaits the viewer.

"Salem" is being developed by "24" and "Star Trek: The Next Generation" vet Brannon Braga and Adam Simon ("The Haunting in Connecticut"). Thirteen episodes have been ordered for the series, which will be an hour-long entry.

Who would thought she was a witch but the fact no one suspect her should be interesting .

John coming back after 7 years was a surprise did he really expect her to wait for her ?

Am i understand scarfice of her baby gave her powers ?

If Isaac getting branded wasn't bad enough they have now made it look like he's supposed to be a witch but Mary trying to save his life made a nice change

Taking out that snake from his daughter was great but not being able to control her was a nice change but getting her reprocessed was sad but ending was nice twist .

Hook going to see Mary's husband was going to be his downfall after being given the witch note but getting John to kill him was sneaky

Hale having one of his men cut the face off a dead guy was disturbing and John's visions after opening the box was surprising as there was so many dead bodies but the trap to protect the box was impressive and a surprise

With Mary helping John escape it was obvious he would also find out she's a witch and Tituba blackmailing her to complete the grand rights was surprising, Cotton killing his father because he thought he was torturing Mary was impressive and as all the innocent were killed be other's the blood is on their hands

Mary plan was very intelligent using their own fears to make it happen was certainly out of the box thinking but Cotton seem to be a very powerful witch if she just do that by getting angry i wonder whether she will season 2 storyline . No wonder Mary was so interested in her at beginning of the show.

Another good episode and since i forgot to comment on previous episode all i am going say you really can't keep a bad witch down but survive the fire was impressive and getting her only survive member to kidnap Issac was interesting as we found out in this episode she is trying cure him which is nice.

You would think Mary would learnt her lesson from last season taking on young witch who more powerful but using book of shadow to spy on her was sneaky.
