Movie Premiers October 12, 2013 and TV series 20 April 2014

Created by bestselling author Martha Williamson, "DEAD LETTERS", follows a quirky quartet of civil servants in the Dead Letter Office of the US Postal System who transform themselves into an elite team of lost-mail detectives. Their determination to deliver the undeliverable takes them out of the post office into an unpredictable world where letters and packages from the past save lives, solve crimes, reunite old loves and change futures by arriving late but always miraculously on time. The intrepid bunch is led by the charming and handsome (but idiosyncratic) Oliver who still considers the stamped and mailed letter to be the gold standard of human communication. His hapless team of lost letter experts, free-spirited Rita and oddly-intuitive Norman, are thrown for a loop when a beautiful, no-nonsense technophile named Shane is mistakenly transferred to their inner sanctum. Shane inspires the lovable crew to step up in a risky and unorthodox way, beginning with a chance to clear the name of a wrongfully accused man and reconnect him with the love of his life

I watched this movie during Christmas 2013 and i had no idea this was going made into a tv series and i really enjoyed the movie because it show the side of post office i think none of us know about what happens letter who address can't be read by machine they actually have a department who deal with this .

This was a nice movie but i really do hope the writer have good storyline in place for the dead letters because without that this series wouldn't work. . Who would of thought the new employee would create so much trouble for Oliver who has the department running the way he wanted but you just knew by end of movie she would want to stay with them.

Who would of thought a kid letter would turn out to be so dangerous for his family who were in witness protection but i love how persistent they were getting to bottom to the mystery and Rita providing a distraction was great.

I had a felling when Shane was rushing to buy her coffee because she was running late it would be at Oliver's place and Kelly's letter taking a balloon ride was lucky to ever get into the postal system but as she was dying and it took almost a year to get to the post office you did wonder if she is still alive and with Charlie being in prison because she was his alibi was unbelievably rotten luck but what a great ending with her turning up on the bridge

I'm glad they have a new supervisor who is on their wave length as running up against the one in the film would of got tiresome and the letter from the boy in witness protection was interesting, I'm glad they contacted the police

Well this was an emotional episode with a young women who was saved by American solider and given an American education but taking 4 years to get the letter was long time but what great timing for the reunion just as she was graduating from college.

The letter to Buzz from Sam was emotional but getting him to her graduation from college was great timing and what a great graduation speech especially wearing the red sock

Another new supervisor was disappointing as the last one was a better fit and now only having a day to find the recipient before shredding it doesn't give them much time but It's a good job Rita could remember the lover letter after it was burned

Yes but i kind of annoyed it was a happy ending it's not realistic but i do find it amusing no-one from team figured out letter could be older than a week considering how many times they done this .

Well this one had a bitter-sweet ending and they really pushing Shane and Oliver love story but why do i suspect that if they do hook up his France ex will return to complicate things. .

Rita's autobiography being a hit with the boss was nice and Norman not realising he's in the book was surprising but Henry finding out he's lost his son and gained a granddaughter in the same breath was sad

The urn not being reported missing was sad as you would think someone would miss the ashes of a loved one but as the daughters explained it started to make sense and the treasure hunt was emotional

This was one hell parting gift getting the sister to forgive each other but finding out their father died in twin towers attack was so unfortunate leading to sister blaming each other for the situation but being able to get bottom of the situation was great.

I really hope they are not trying pair up Oliver with Shane because that would be annoying.

Another great episode with another twist so glad she didn't let her parents from stop her from marrying Bobby and that letter was what she needed to stop them from telling her what to do. . Apply for marriage certificate with 30 day expiry date was smart way to prove to her parents she was serious about getting married.

Well another sweet episode with another happy ending but i like how they move away from letter to a CD in missing object tray and finding out he had accident has no memory of the song was sad but giving him his guitar help him remember the song was nice ending.

Wow this wasn't a nice situation in previous episode most of the episode focus on lost love but this letter was awful and emotionally to listen to finding out she been raped and the fact the daugher wasn't her husband but than finding out rapist could save daughter life was only good thing

Well getting trapped in the bank was really scary and bank employee not knowing safety procals was disturbing but they were lucky there was enough air in the bank safe and Norman figuring out they were locked in the bank was nice. As for letter another romantic storyline which is starting to get annoying .

Another sappy episode where a women give up a baby and he become a dictor and team reuniting them was nice.

1x06 The Future Me

Ellie's future letter to herself was sweet but the fact she got it back three years early she had time to make it right and Rita's new look taking the guys breath away was amusing but Rita going up against the bosses daughter was going to be awkward

Valerie Bertinelli guest staring as Rebecca was nice as I'm used to seeing her in Hot in Cleveland and moving away from letter to objects made for a nice change but the audition CD being the first to try and track down was interesting as he disappeared the night the it was posted

1x08 Dark of Night

The dying letter being taken before it could be delivered was sad as she was impregnated by a rapist and her husband suspected it was the ex boyfriend but going into court to stop the husband from killing the rapist was impressive

1x09 The Treasure Box

Norman was quick to open the puzzle box and trust Ryan to set off the fire alarm while his mother was not paying attention but with them not being at the Miss Special Delivery contest for Rita I'm not surprised he went to the bank to find them but them reading all the letters was emotional

1x10 A Hope and a Future

The note for Pastor Thomas blowing away before being found with the baby was unfortunate as it explained why she abandoned her child but being 32 years ago was a surprise and an even bigger surprise that she had twins, Norman's grandmother was priceless especially saying nothing says I love you like crabs

Signed Sealed Delivered for Christmas
Author: codebreaker    Time: 12-26-2014 02:09     Subject: Special - Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas

Oliver getting jealous of Shane dancing was amusing and trying to match make Rita and Norman was bound to be hard work, trying to find who sent two letter to God at Christmas was a nice story line as one belonged to Shane and what a small world when Oliver ran into his former Sunday school teacher after rescuing her purse from a mugger

This was nice movie but new boss was interesting he could be a good addition the advice he gave Oliver in church . Putting on a play in hospital was impressive.

Who was playing Holly, Oliver's wife from Paris was surprising but how ironic his letter to her originally getting lost and delivering the divorce could of been a disaster, Shane leaving because Holly came back into Oliver's life would of been a mistake and sad

Yes that was an interesting choice i had no idea they did another movie so glad you post it above since i had nothing else to watch today. I am glad things are finally moving on on romantic front with all the character teasing was unbearable. The storyline with divorce paper was interesting because both had no idea what each other was thinking but who would thought that accident would bought them together.

Delivering the soldier's letter from Afghanistan to his daughter was incredible considering the fire damage and Oliver giving his father a hard time before he died was confusing as it was a father he didn't know about but Hazel, Shane post woman was amusing

You just knew giving the kid the package to post was a bad idea but the state he got it in was looked like it had been around the world a couple of times and them posting in a mailbox that was used as a prop I thought was a stroke of luck, the fact they spent a week trying to find who sent it made a change as this was starting to look like the one they couldn't deliver. Oliver and his father getting into trouble on their camping trip could of been fatal but using the dog the letter was for to find them was awesome
