Premiers June 9 2014

Murder in the First is an upcoming American detective drama television series that has been announced to air on TNT in summer 2014. The series was created by Steven Bochco and Eric Lodal, and stars Taye Diggs and Kathleen Robertson. Set in San Francisco, the show will follow a single case across an entire season

San Francisco homicide detectives Terry Seagrave and Hildy Mulligan investigate what originally appear to be two unrelated murders. Ultimately, they learn both victims have ties to Silicon Valley prodigy Erich Blunt.

Scaring the boy enough for him to piss his pants was cruel and Terry having to deal with his wife dying of cancer was obviously taking it's toll, Erich threatening Jeremy I think was a bad idea as he's bound to turn up dead sooner or later and the way he spoke to Cindy the flight attendant was diabolical but her turning up dead was a surprise

Well yes i felt it was bit mean doing that to those boys but if it prevent them from ever breaking the law it was worth it

. I had a feeling flight attendant would end up dead as soon as he said he deal with it because he couldn't fire her because he was sleeping with her.

I wasn't impressed with this series so far

Well what a disgusting way to get DNA evidence from a suspect by going on a date with him that entrapment unless i am mistaken but making him touch her chest was amusing .

Hildy's date certainly liked the sound of his own voice and putting back the kitchen utensil after getting the tissue out the bin was disgusting but Erich calling Hildy for a date after that interview was surprising and as it was his idea getting his DNA was karma

David's witness sudden turn around about being raped by Erich was surprising as she was adamant earlier because she signed a non-disclosure but Hildy killing the boys father for attacking his mother was surprising but the fact he had a knife in his hand he got what he deserved

You just knew the family would file a wrongful death suit after Hildy saved them but you can understand the money would be useful and Erich not listen to his lawyer's advice was karma as he was refused bail

The doctor being reluctant to give the suspect an alibi was understandable as she was married and Blunt passing the polygraph test was predictable but Blunt outside Hildy's house is pushing his luck

I liked the way Terry handled the ass-holes in the bar as Hildy way would of been boring and Cindy's husband turning up dead after giving evidence would be convenient for Erich as his suicide does make him look guilty of her murder

I'm now on the 5 episode and I take my original statements back....this is better The Killing. The killing moved ridiculously slow (which is why it keeps getting cancelled)......this has a nice pace so far.

I'm happy the show's getting a second season....great news.

My only hope/want for the new season is that we get a new Defense attorney for whomever the accused criminal will be. In season 1 finale we had Warren Daniels who represented Eric Blunt bring his new client to the station. He's ld news we need someone new in season 2.

This season was complete and utter rubbish. The multiple storylines and characters were all over the place and had no sound direction. If this show gets renewed the writers need to re-watch the first season and follow that pattern.

I really enjoyed police corruption storyline, the first season was just focused on one murder i was bored .
The second season has different story lines which keep me interested.

IMO the whole season was handled poorly. But, maybe TNT might give them another shot at recapturing what they had from 1. I don't think they deserve to get it, but because its a summer show that might save them.

i think it's our expectation because you had higher expectation since you enjoyed first season you were disappointed while i had low expectation of the second season which meant i didn't feel same way as you as long it was different from first season.

Well, let's see how they wrap this case up next week. The end was so abrupt.

I seriously wanted to slap Louise when she was yelling at all the adults throughout the entire episode. The kid was never a brat, don't turn her into one just because she's at that age.

If Siletti doesn't die in the next episode - I seriously wonder what he's whole arc was about this season. Either the husband or the dumbass Atty will be the shooter.
