Dominion Premieres on Syfy on June 19, 2014
Dominion is an epic supernatural drama set in the near future. Specifically, 25 years after "The Extinction War," when an army of lower angels, assembled by the archangel Gabriel, waged war against mankind. The archangel Michael, turning against his own kind, chose to side with humanity. Rising out of the ashes of this long battle are newly fortified cities which protect human survivors. At the center of the series is the city of Vega, a glistening empire that has formed from the ruins of what was once Las Vegas.
Dominion stars Christopher Egan (Resident Evil: Extinction), Tom Wisdom (300), Roxanne McKee (Game of Thrones), Alan Dale (Lost), Anthony Stewart Head (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Luke Allen-Gale (The Borgias).

I really didn't like this pilot to be honest it was awful too many things happening and even if you saw the film you still get a bit confused at times. The biggest problem i found wasn't bad acting but storyline for a sci-fi show this was rather disappointing because every cliche you could think of happen in this episode with regards to the chosen one. I thought I would watch the movie Legion (2010) while VIP was playing up but Gladys taking a bite out of Howard before climbing the walls was amusing for a horror film and trying to protect Charlie and her unborn child was no easy task with so many trying to kill them, the cast line up was surprising Author: codebreaker Time: 7-5-2014 12:04 Subject: 1x01 Pilot

I agree. I think it had so much more potential. Chris Egan (Alex) is a miscast role. Tom Wisdom (Michael) is perfectly cast. I can't believe that guy is 41. He only looks about 30! Well that was an episode and a half (literally too!)
So my thoughts on this are that the real bluff happened after the fake bluff. I think they knew that Gabriel was too clever so they put in place a fake bluff, because he would be expecting that. Then everything that happened after that is in fact, the real bluff. Knowing that Gabriel has eyes everywhere it needed to be really believable and they had to trick us too. I really didn't give this much thought but you could be onto something i thought it was good plan but i never expect Gaberal to turn himself in but knowing he has way out was a good plan. it certainly one best episode so far but who know if second season is coming?. Well it was until I saw this deleted scene image on Syfy's website. Not sure why they deleted it but Michael is distraught which makes me think it was real and look who showed up to comfort him.....

Michael sacrifice himself to the town people to save them was interesting but him being bought back to life giving him a new purpose was interesting.
