Better Things is a semi-autobiographical vehicle for Pamela Adlon similar to the way Louie is for CK. It centers on Sam (Adlon), a working actor with no filter trying to earn a living, navigate her daughters' lives, have fun with a friend or two and also — just maybe — squeeze in some private time once in a while. Mikey Madison, Riley Watson, and Olivia Edward co-star as the three daughters.
I watched first 5 episode it's not a bad comedy but it certainly more focused for female audience which is a shame because it could been good for guys to watch. The subject matter is for more female audiences so there were few things which were uncomfortable to watch
