Housos Premiered on SBS on October 24, 2011

Housos tells the not-so-epic stories of Shazza, Dazza, Franky and Kylie - four best mates from down on the block. Sure, they drink away their problems, they might even have frequent domestics but down on the block it's all for one and one for all.

Follow the adventures of the residents of the Sunnyvale Housing Commission in every-town Australia. They battle cops and they scam Centerlink, they even have the occasional threesome and swingers party, but once your down with the crew in the hood then it's " Sunnyvale for life".

Fact of life: Australia is getting dumber, less-educated - and at the bottom of the barrel you'll find the fully sick adventures of the residents from Sunnyvale. What does it mean to be a houso? It means that life is far from easy. What do you do if ambulances won't come into your area because kids throw rocks at them? Hmmm, maybe you should steal a fire truck and get to the hospital that way. What do you do if your dad owes thousands to the bikies and your boyfriend needs bail money? Import shifty boogie boards. It’s funny how much work they put into actually avoiding real work.

This really shows the Aussie in a bad light but the chase across the roof when he damaged his leg was amusing and the language is horrendous

Shazza going into labour and asking Dazza to get an ambulance should of been straightforward but after that fails he tries to get her to the hospital by any means necessary and one or two disasters would of been funny but after ten or more it was ridiculous

Kylie breaking up with Franky after an argument about the new colour of the chopper he won was crazy but his comment about being colour dyslexia was amusing and the swingers party in Melbourne was just wrong

Dazza trying car jacking was amusing considering the car he tried to steal was manual that he couldn't drive it and trying to insulate the Mayor of Sunnyvale's apartment was priceless

You just knew that Shazza delivering the boogie board full of illegal steroids to Asia would backfire and having one of the local cops being on the same resort was beyond belief

Shazza giving her dad a second heart attack was corny but actually delivering the pills after getting held for ransom was impressive

The girl's threatening to withhold sex until the guys got them the dodgy pay TV boxes was crazy and then setting the girl's up on a phone sex line which was amusing when a cop and the benefit guy rang

What a rigmarole to get a jumping castle but stealing an x-rated jumping castles for Anarchy’s first birthday was amusing and the amount of time the cops had their new car stolen was ridiculous

Stealing the council's car was a lucky break when the Housos discovered documents showing the Mayor wants to move the community into the bush but Shazza stealing a pie cake for Dazza’s birthday only for Franky to fall on it was predictable

Seeing who the characters are based on was interesting and some of the similarities was uncanny

Dazza trying to get Shazza the best birthday present ever would of been nice but if trading Beryl’s heart pills for a fancy dinner voucher wasn't bad enough he only went and lost it and robbing the restaurant after they refused the voucher because it was out of date was priceless

I cant believe Dazza managed to fake being blind to get disability pension but the girls trying for child benefit was amusing as the children the borrowed were form all different nationalities

Dazza trying to use his limp dick to claim disability allowance was amusing and Franky saving the handbag from the junkies was about the only decent thing he has done

Franky learning that Fred had died and left him something special in his will was interesting but I had a feeling the road trip to the desert to find out what he has inherited would cost more to get there than what it's worth but making money from the fireworks was clever

Franky stealing the only ambulance just when his girlfriend needed one was ironic and I'm not surprised Dazza had to spend some time in rehab after getting arrested but who else was in there was amusing

Garry and Richard having a reality television show riding in their police car was amusing as what was shown on TV was nothing like what really happened but all the tazing was priceless

How on earth have the Junkies managed to steal everybody's stuff and Shazza and Vanessa telling Centerlink they have eighteen kids each just for extra benefit was crazy as they used the same kids
