This game still annoys me but i find that on some days it about luck some days i can find big squares other days i can't

I try to get ones in the corner and change colors to try to make all four corners same color.

Keep trying, try to get big squares but at the same time try to get the corners  same colors even if its a tiny block - thats how I got more than 7000 points once.

I don't understand the game. I can only form squares of 4, any other thing is refused.
Can anyone explain it in Dutch or simple English?
