Caroline and Taylor being horny at the start was amusing so hooking up towards the end was expected and Stefan being the bad brother made an interesting change

Thinking it was bad cream in the coffee was amusing and then showing her there are two monsters in the family was great but the end was a surprise

The flashbacks are a good way to give depth to the characters but the veterans style wall of kills was a little disturbing

Caroline saving her dad was nice considering what he did to her but what she said about being more angry was amusing and Katherine killing the witch was great

This episode was so much better than the others with so much going on but Klaus disappearing so quick after hearing about Michael was great

The escape from the car was lucky and what happened to Katherine should be interesting

Great episode, the way the ghost were able to interact with the living was interesting but Lexie smacking Stefan's head into the car was amusing and Caroline was right about who had the necklace

Another good history episode with Rebekah revealing some of her family's ancient secrets and the violent past but the reason they became vampires was interesting

Elena is starting to get good at sticking the knife in and the way Stephan earned his freedom was impressive and taking the coffins was a great revenge

What a turnaround for Jeremy after almost dying he then returns and shoots the hybrid and chops off his head

I'm not surprised Caroline wasn't in the mood to celebrate her 18th birthday but what Elena, Bonnie and Matt did to surprise her with a small party in an unusual location was nice and Tyler biting Caroline when he refused to go along with Klaus latest demand was a surprise

Klaus having Bonnie's mother compelled was clever but her asking Bonnie to help save Jamie after walking out on her was a little ironic and the doctor using vampire blood to save patients was unusual

Elena put a lot of faith in herself being supernatural when she killed him in the hope he would return and i liked the ending

Elena's blood in the toast was a great way to cast the spell but binding them all just to kill Klaus is a hell of a plan but i did like the drawing he gave Caroline

What a sacrifice to save Elena but how will Bonnie react to Elena knowing her mothers, Abby was turned into a vampire to save her

Elena and Matt resorting to breaking and entering in their search for evidence was interesting but Meredith tricking them to think she had left was great and vampire, Sage seemed like an amusing character

Sage's unusual method to help Damon figure out what Rebekah is up to was interesting especially how she was able to show him and Meredith was lucky they got back to find her in the bathroom

They should of killed Sage when she was distracted over Finn's death but their delayed death was an interesting twist

Interesting twist at the end with Rebecca not being who we thought and for once Klaus looked worried
