I know specials aren't usually added however there are more and more shows added that only have 2 episodes (mini series) like the recent addition of Birdsong - so why not add the special episodes of regular series?

So I'd like to make a plea for Doctor Who Specials which are counted as part of the season by IMDB, Wikipedia, BBC and the DVD box sets - it seems the only reason they are called specials is that they air on a special day like Christmas. However Sherlock also aired on Christmas Day or was it (New Years day) and it was included in the three season episodes. So my 2 requests are:

Doctor Who Specials or just call them episode 14 for the previous season or episode 0 for the next season - or just dec 25 episode as on imdb - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0436992/episodes

Deep Space Nine - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106145/ because I really want to see it again, and it is always at the top of the request list and I believe a lot of people would watch it and would make it a profitable addition for VIP TV
