About the Show:
A half-hour scripted comedy series starring Jordana Spiro as PJ, a twenty-something “guy’s girl” who tries to find romance within her world dominated by male friends. As a huge sports fan and professional sportswriter, she has a masculine, no-nonsense, sports-analogous approach to dating that often freaks out potential boyfriends. Her only female friend advises her to dress and act more feminine, but it’s hard for PJ to shake off her tomboy qualities.

Season 1

1. Pilot
We meet PJ Franklin and her posse of guy friends. When her brother Andy bows out of their baseball team, Mike brings his friend, Bobby, to replace him. PJ and Bobby hit it off and hook up. Bobby pulls away because he's a little freaked out at PJ's guy-like take on hooking up. Meanwhile, Brendan announces that he has broken up with his long time on-again and off-again girlfriend, Wendy.

2. Mixed Signals
PJ tries to clear things up with Bobby and wants him to know that she is interested, but she also wants to keep their relationship on the down low. She doesn't realize that she is just confusing things more by using analogies. Meanwhile, Stephanie signs up for Match.com to find a man.

3. Team Chemistry
PJ introduces her new acquaintance, Amad, to Stephanie in hopes that they will hit it off. Stephanie is crushed when she learns that Amad is really into PJ and not her. Meanwhile, the fan that Brendan has brought home is driving PJ crazy. The guys find out about PJ and Bobby's secret one time hook up.

4. The Slump

The guys are all in a dating slump so they decide to take a pack mentality and go in search of women. PJ goes along with the intention of helping, but doesn't. Stephanie convinces PJ into a civilized girl's night out. PJ meets Hank, an older more grown up guy, unlike any of her friends.

5. The Show
PJ and Hank advance their relationship to the next level when he stays over. The next morning when they are on their way to breakfast, PJ sees Brendan with Wendy. She later confronts him and Brendan tells her he is going to propose. Meanwhile, the guys get on PJ's case when she opts to hang out with Hank over them.

6. Clubhouse Poison

Trouty, Kenny's friend, joins the poker game. The guys don't like Trouty and think he's a bad hang. Meanwhile, PJ tries to get the guys to hang out with Hank. In return, PJ agrees to spend some time with Wendy.

7. Free Agent
PJ can't do the annual decathlon, a night of competitive games, because she already has plans with Hank. Andy takes her spot. PJ is slowly starting to feel like Hank may not be the best match for her because he doesn't mesh well with her friends. PJ and Bobby travel for work and find themselves in a confusing situation when they sleep together. PJ breaks up with Hank.

8. Superstar Treatment
There is a new addition to the Cubs, Hernando Garcia, and PJ tries to get an interview. Jack Brisco, a legendary sports reporter, steals PJ's words when he pens his article on Garcia. Mike starts to date the super hot Dani and everyone but PJ is on board. PJ has a bad vibe about her but keeps her mouth shut because Dani scores her an interview with Garcia. Dani ends up dumping Mike for a popular athlete.

9. Managers
PJ is excited when Meredith goes out of town for the weekend and Andy decides to let loose. He goes into "fun Andy" mode and is partying and drinking non stop. PJ quickly gets tired of "fun Andy" and realizes how essential Meredith's leash on Andy is.

10. Take One for the Team
Trouty takes everyone to a super exclusive club, The Streisand, to hang out. Turns out Trouty is a welcomed guest of the club and is tight with its owner, Steve. PJ finds herself enamored with Steve until she realizes he is a typical jerk and Trouty comes to her rescue. When the guys talk badly about Trouty, Steve overhears and throws them out of the club.

11. When Heroes Fall from Grace
PJ and Andy's Aunt Phyllis visits Chicago for the weekend. PJ is thrilled because Phyllis is her hero. Things get a little weird for her when Phyllis and Kenny hook up. PJ doesn't want Kenny to get hurt so she asks Phyllis to make sure they are on the same page. But Phyllis takes off before doing so, leaving both Kenny and PJ very disappointed. Meanwhile Mike meets his idol, baseball legend Danny Finn, who later turns out to be a jerk. Brendan and Wendy call off their wedding.

12. Released
PJ goes on a mercy date with old college buddy Keith and then can't get rid of him. Bobby tells Kenny that Mike is going to get fired and agree not to tell Mike to protect his pride. Mike ends up getting fired and learns that Bobby knew in advance and gets upset with him. Meanwhile, Brendan is trying to get over Wendy by giving up alcohol.

13. Baseball Myths

When PJ tells the guys that she and Brendan made out back in college, things start to get weird between them. Meredith wants to throw Andy a surprise birthday party and asks PJ to keep him busy the day of so she can prepare. PJ and the gang surprise him when they take him to Wrigley Field. PJ realizes the horror stories Andy has been telling about Meredith aren't true. And Brendan admits that he had feelings for PJ back in college. They sort things out and then he surprises her with a kiss.

14. The Promise of a New Season
The kiss that ended last episode seems to not have had any lasting effect as Brendon has moved on to another girlfriend. Kenny also has a new girlfriend who happens to have a bun in the oven. And Andy is getting used to live in the suburbs, including the long commute that comes with it.

15. Off Day
PJ is invited to appear as a guest on a local cable sports show, while Stephanie tries to convince her to go on a trip to Italy in October with the boyfriends they hope to find by then. Andy tries to find a solution to his commuting issues on poker night. And Kenny seems a little too attached to Kimmie's unborn baby.

16. Ethics
Brandon is chosen as one of Chicago's Top 50 Sexiest Bachelors while PJ contemplates an ethically questionable relationship with the new Cubs pitcher. And Trouty makes an appearance in an unexpected place.

17. Dirty Little Secrets
Stephanie runs into money problems after accumulating quite a bit of debt, but accountant Andy is coming to the rescue. Meanwhile, the gang learns a big secret about Bobby that changes their entire perspective on him. Mike is taking a yoga class in an upscale neighborhood, but his mind isn't exactly on fitness. And Kenny's new girlfriend is a bit mysterious.

18. Second Chances
Thorn, a war correspondent and a former flame of PJ's, is coming through town, igniting old passions a chance to get back together. Mike is having difficulty finding a new job and finally convinces Kenny to let him help out in his store. But Mike's idea of helping isn't exactly what Kenny had in mind. Stephanie is going to debt counseling, but her counselor Lance is torturing her. And Brendan is avoiding his current girlfriend's calls because he wants to keep his options open.

19. Douchebag in the City
PJ's first editor from her college newspaper comes to town with three close friends in tow. PJ realizes quickly that their friendship has changed over time. Brendan has a new friend who is completely obnoxious and condescending, traits Brendan is starting to display himself. Stephanie is starting to find herself smitten by Lance, her debt counselor. Mike makes a bizarre purchase for Kenny's store. And Andy has a new neighbor who seems way too nice.

20. The Estates of Hoffman
Andy invites the gang to come to a housewarming barbecue at his new digs in the suburbs. Once they arrive, PJ realizes her brother's home is identical in every way to their home when they were kids. Also attending the barbecue are PJ and Andy's parents: Eileen, their intrusive mother who spoils a big surprise, and Frank, whom Andy is convinced is the future version of himself. Brendan, Kenny and Mike desperately pursue a young single mom while PJ meets a nice young man from the city.

21. 110 Percent Solution
Stephanie expresses her concern to PJ when she subjects her new love interest, Evan, to a game of poker with the gang, a game during which Evan feels completely invisible. Meanwhile, Andy decides to buy a boat to placate his feelings of not being able to have a place to himself. Unfortunately, however, he decides not to tell his wife, Meredith, about the purchase. And Kenny, Mike, Brendan and the rest of the gang try to one-up each other by comparing pain thresholds.

22. Rome, If You Want To
Italy is just days away, and PJ still doesn't have a date. But it isn't for lack of opportunities, as three of the men in her life make welcome but untimely returns, including botanist Evan, globe-trotting reporter Thorn Packer and Cubs player Matt Dougan. Meanwhile, the gang decides to be tourists in their hometown taking in all the Chicago sites they've never seen, such as the Art Institute and the Sears Tower. And Andy has some surprising, life-changing news involving his new boat, his pregnant wife and their house in the suburbs.

Season 2

1. The Transitioning
PJ and Stephanie are off to Italy with their men. Stephanie's shocked to see who PJ's mystery man is, and it doesn't take her long to get in PJ's business, making the trip a little less romantic. Meanwhile in Chicago, the boys can't function without PJ keeping them in line, and life quickly gets out of control when one of them breaks the "hang out" code, getting them banned from Crowley's.

2. Dinner Party
Andy and Meredith hire a nanny, Elsa, who happens to be hot and from Sweden. When the guys fight for her affections, it is Bobby who wins. Meanwhile, PJ tries setting up Kenny and Mike with her friends but much to Mike's dismay, the girls are only interested in Kenny.

3. The Shirt Contest

After Mike arrogantly proclaims he can make a shirt from scratch, he, Kenny, Brendan and Bobby decide to hold a shirt contest. Each one will have $20 to spend on materials, and the one to make the best shirt will get free booze for a month. Meanwhile, PJ decides to write a book with a popular athelete. Things take a turn for the worse when the player decides it's not a priority. Andy has been spending long hours at the office with his new coworker just as Bobby begins spending more time at Andy's with his new girlfriend, Elsa. And Brendan decides to become a bartender after losing his DJ job to a computer, but his first job interview delivers the shock of his life.

4. Spit Take
The gang, especially PJ, is stunned to learn that Bobby has proposed to Elsa who is in danger of being deported. Meanwhile, Mike joins Andy's Improv class and Stephanie's book is an instant success.

5. Dudes Being Dudes
PJ is annoyed when she learns that she isn't invited to Bobby's bachelor party. Instead, Bobby asks her to attend Elsa's bridal shower. Brendan is stressed about how much he may have to spend on the bachelor party. Meanwhile, PJ finally tells Bobby about her feelings for him.

6. Take My Work Wife... Please
Kenny begins to date two women and this drives Mike insane. Andy decides to set Mike up w/ his work wife, Jo, in hopes to boost his mojo but learns she's only interested in Andy. Brendan takes a temp job at Andy's law firm and the guys read Stephanie's book only to discover she's used them as source material.

7. Opportunity Knocks
The stress of wedding planning is getting to Bobby, and Kenny switches personalities with Mike. Meanwhile, PJ finds out Jack's reputation for being a womanizer.

8. Jack & Bobby
PJ keeps her new romance under wraps while Jack is put on "Dad" watch for the wedding. Meanwhile, the boys, excluding Bobby, live it up at the Newman ranch.

9. John, Cougar, Newman Camp
After Jack's sudden departure from the wedding, the gang, including PJ, step in as Bobby's "best men" and try to help the wedding run smoothly. Mike continues to pine after Maggie and Kenny and Stephanie come to a truce.

Season 3

1. Welcome Back, Kalla
In a continuation of last season's cliffhanger, Bobby and Elsa decide to call off their wedding, and Bobby goes on the honeymoon trip alone. Back in Chicago Andy and his wife have a new baby, and the guys are having a moustache growing contest. Against Stephanie's advice P.J. decides to tell Bobby how she feels about him.

2. Private Eyes
The gang tries to find out who P.J.'s mystery boyfriend is. Bobby and P.J. try to keep their relationship a secret. Brendan is busy trying to get his club ready for business, and Andy is happy to get a night off.

3. The Boyfriend Hat
PJ gets her own column in the paper but the guys think that it may be because of her looks rather than her writing. Meanwhile, Brendan brings Kenny to a new, exciting club.

4. Decathlon: Part Deux
Bobby takes exception to PJ's competitive nature during the annual gaming decathlon. Meanwhile, Stephanie uses the guys to research a new article she is writing.

5. Carpe Burritoem
Brendan comes to the notion that PJ should make all his decisions. Meanwhile, Kenny forms a new band.

6. Madder of Degrees
After a bizarre heatwave during winter the gang decides that it is time for them to be more impulsive

7. Facebook The Past
Kenny becomes friends with the Dalai Lama on Facebook, and the gang convinces Bobby to join. Bobby learns that PJ is friends with all of her ex-boyfriends. Mike and Brendan compete for a woman with Mike using Facebook to help him.

8. Friends Of Friends
PJ becomes friends with one of Stephanie's friends, and Mike and Kenny make a new friend.

9. Spring Training
The gang heads to Arizona for the Cubs spring training.

Episode 1: Addition By Subtraction
PJ and the guys look for a replacement for Andy, while reminiscing about how they all first met.

Episode 2: Gourmets and Confused
PJ and Bobby go on their first double date with Stephanie and Kenny; Brendan and Mike try to act more like adults.

Episode 3: Mike-Fest
The gang goes on a pub crawl to celebrate Mike's birthday. Stephanie's book piques the interest of a film producer.

Episode 4: Be a Man!
Brendan's new girlfriend is too much for him to handle. Bobby re-evaluates what it takes to be a man after meeting NASCAR driver Brian Vickers

Episode 5: The NTO
P.J. worries the spark has gone out of her relationship with Bobby. Brendan makes a connection with Stephanie's sister. The bad economy hits Kenny's memorabilia shop.

Episode 6: Hanger Management
Brendan considers moving out of P.J.'s apartment. Bobby looks for a new job, and Kenny tries to get into the business of designing closets.

Episode 7: Puss 'N' Glutes
P.J. and Stephanie step in to help Mike and Brando find nice women, and to stay away from the "crazies." Meanwhile, Bobby and Kenny become workout buddies.

Episode 8: Extreme-Mike-Over
The group has to search for a new bar after Crowley's gets voted one of the most popular in the city. PJ and Stephanie help Mike makeover his place to impress his new girlfriend.

Episode 9: My Men
PJ is close to realizing her dream of being a front page sportswriter but it may cost more than she thought. Mike plans a birthday party for his girlfriend Marsha and makes a decision that surprises everyone. Kenny is struggling with whether or not he will move to London with Stephanie. Brenden also makes a game changing choice.
