Unforgettable Cancelled by CBS

Unforgettable Cancelled by CBS

No mystery here: CBS’ crime drama Unforgettable won’t be returning for a fourth season.

The network officially confirmed the news Friday, following the end of the drama’s third season on Sept. 14.
CBS famously cancelled the Poppy Montgomery procedural after its first season, only to reverse course and renew it for a second season.

The two-hour closer drew 6 million viewers and a 1.0 demo rating.

Cancelled again? Not quite!

It looks like TV networks are having a hard time forgetting this one.

A&E Network is set to revive Unforgettable for a fourth season, according to Deadline, The crime procedural will return with 13-episodes and its two leads, Poppy Montgomery and Dylan Walsh, who had to make new deals as their options had expired.
But it's actually not the first time the series, which was created by John Bellucci and Ed Redlich (who will return as executive producers for the fourth season revival), has come back from the dead: CBS canceled the series after its first season, only to reverse their decision and bring it back for a second season. The network then canceled it again in October 2014, after its season three finally pulled in 6 million viewers and a 1.0 demo rating.

The only other show to come back from the dead more than once? The Killing, which was canceled then revived by AMC, before being renewed by Netflix.
Of course, Unforgettable and The Killing aren't the first shows to be saved by another network: After being canceled by NBC, Yahoo saved Community, while Netflix picked up Arrested Development and A&E Network's Longmire.

Yet, good shows like Carnivale could not be revived!

Yes, I know, and most of the times the shows aren't worthwhile.

But, I'm looking forward to The Powers on PSN network....looks interesting and really different from the norm.
