The wife saying the phone call was from her husband saying who stabbed it was suspicious as the guy had a good alibi but his son and her doing it together was impressive as if the guy had still been asleep it would of worked

Stephen being found dead was predictable after offering to spend the night on the live volcano to monitor the seismograph but a missing torch being the clue to foul play was rather quick, Martha's return to the island for a summer holiday was nice as it continued Humphrey's awkward relationship with his ex

So much for Humphrey taking Martha on a romantic weekend retreat to a remote island before going home with a murder in their hotel but the victim staging his room to look like he was stabbed their was surprising

You just knew the Cricket Club's triumphant win would be short lived with someone dying and with only four people knowing the combination of the safe where the gun was kept they had to be the main suspects but covering up a suicide was surprising, I cant believe Martha fell asleep before Humphrey told her how he feels

I like how all his cases seem impossible at first glance but the victim being found on a boat five miles out and satellite shows know other boats in the area how did the killer escape but a hidden compartment should of been obvious, having to hand the case over to the British police after the suspect went to London would of been a mistake but the commissioner allowing them to go to was nice and looks like Humphrey gets the opportunity to see Martha before having to leave
