About the Show:
Miami Beach, 1959.

As Ike Evans rings in the New Year at his luxurious Miramar Playa Hotel, Havana falls to Castro’s rebels. It’s a turbulent time in Miami, but it’s THE place to be. The Kennedys, the mob and the CIA all hold court here. And Ike, he’s the star of his hotel.

But everything comes at a price.

To finance his dream, he sold his soul to mob boss Ben “The Butcher” Diamond. Ike’s wife Vera, a former showgirl, and his three kids think he’s an honorable man, but he can’t break his pact with the devil. His life is a façade.

In fact, nothing at the Miramar Playa is what it seems. By day, it’s diving clowns and cha-cha lessons.  By night, escorts have secret liaisons with husbands in the family cabanas, while Miami’s seedier residents and the law drift together to hear legendary singers, musicians and comics.

As Ike’s world threatens to implode, he fights for his family, and the Miramar Playa, in Magic City.

'Feeding Frenzy' Ike Faces the disappearance of Mike Strauss while DA Klein attacks organized crime through Ike's law-student son. Meanwhile, Stevie Evans' affair with Lily Diamond heats up.

Episode 3: Castles Made of Sand (Apr/20/2012)
'Castles Made Of Sand' Ike tries to bribe officials to legalize casino gambling. And old friend visits Vera, and Ben wonders if his wife is faithful. Ike contacts his wealthy ex-sister-in-law for a favor.

Episode 4: Atonement (Apr/27/2012)
'Atonement' Mike Strauss' body is seized, Ike reacts to a break-in, and Victor plots to get his wife out of Cuba. Vera secures Jackie Kennedy for a charity event but laments not having children with Ike.

'Suicide Blonde' Ike is determined to save Judi Silver from Ben Diamond. Polaroids of Stevie and Lily surface. Vera tries something new to get pregnant, Danny and Mercedes' bond grows, and Klein's search ramps up.

'The Harder They Fall' Ike and Ben Diamond bet big on a boxing match. Jackie Kennedy cancels on Vera. Danny gets blackmail photos meant for Stevie, and Klein finds something that will change Ike's life forever.

Episode 7: Who's the Horse and Who's the Rider? (May/18/2012)
'Who's The Horse & Who's The Rider?' Danny confronts Stevie about his affair and uses the DA to uncover blackmail. Klein shows Ike damning evidence, and Meg refuses Ike's offer. Caught lying to Ben, Ike must make a deal.

Episode 8: Time and Tide (Jun/01/2012)
'Time and Tide' Judi Silver falls into Klein's hands, while Victor and Mercedes get bad news. Lily and Stevie's affair gets more dangerous. Juggling family, Ben Diamond, and a new partner, Ike's future is uncertain.

In the Season 2 premiere, Ike faces a murder rap and his family tries to raise bail money, which leads them to discover just who his silent partners are. Meanwhile, Ben is concerned that Ike will fold under pressure and offers to help.

Episode 2: Angels of Death (Jun/21/2013)
Ike's dicey plan to rid the hotel of Ben Diamond is set in motion, while at the same time, Ben requests permission to put a hit on Ike. Later, Stevie and Lily go on an actual date; and Meg threatens Vera.

Episode 3: Adapt or Die (Jun/28/2013)
Ike goes to Cuba to retrieve Maria's ashes and set his plan to oust Ben in motion. Stevie is lured deeper into Ben's world. Stevie offers a chemical solution when Vera struggles with exhausting rehearsals.

Episode 4: Crossroads (Jul/12/2013)
Ike makes mob boss Sy Berman a risky offer - Havana for the Miramar Playa. Danny commits to Jack Klein and learns the truth about Ben Diamond. Ben ruins an arms deal with the Cubans, with tragic results.

Episode 5: World in Changes (Jul/19/2013)
Ike and Meg grow close as Meg uses connections to fight the gambling bill. Vera must face reality about her dancing future. Danny's world roils due to the busted arms deal. Ben makes Stevie an offer.

Episode 6: Sitting on Top of the World (Jul/26/2013)
Stevie's sex and booze-soaked deejay convention takes over the hotel. Mercedes makes a revelation to Vera. Ike's plot to fix the Cuban lottery begins. Ben seeks revenge in the wrong places.

Miami sees the arrival of Sy Berman. Ben and Stevie start their new arrangement. Klein plans on ruining Ike, while Ike suffers consequences with Victor on his plots for the Havana Hotels.

Ike and Ben's future hangs on the outcome of the gambling bill. Klein weighs Ike's offer to get The Butcher. Stevie and Lily face the end. Vera's heart is broken. What has Ike won?
