Some Girls Premiered on BBC Three on November 06, 2012

Some Girls is about the lives and loves of a group of quirky 16-year-old girls who play on the same school football team and live on the same inner city estate. We join them on their bumpy journey through adolescence, taking in boys, sex, cliques, teachers, heartbreak, fun and even some football along the way.

At the heart of the comedy is Viva (Adelayo Adedayo), whose ambition is to stay motivated and go to college. She lives with her dad Rob (Colin Salmon) and her stepmother Anna (Dolly Wells), a New Zealander who also happens to be Viva's sadistic PE teacher.

Viva is great friends with Holli (Natasha Jonas) whose entertaining, violent outbursts are legendary. Saz (Mandeep Dhillon) and Amber (Alice Felgate) complete the gang. They talk about everything from history homework to their ambitions in life. They share everything: their clothes, their moods, their secrets and - occasionally - their mothers' tranquillisers.

How ironic that Amber was having trouble dumping her boyfriend only to be dumped by him but having his sex moans as her ring tone was amusing and I'm not surprised Viva was upset with her dad when he's banging her teacher

Viva's brother playing with himself while at the table was disgusting and Amber being happy that the naked pictures on her boyfriends phone are of girls that are fatter than her was amusing but what happened to the hamster was terrible

The sexy text messages Viva's dad was getting was amusing and making fun of the hairy girl was cruel but Viva should of know better than take them all babysitting

Holli's crazy challenge against the boy's football team was stupid and Viva being torn about her feelings for Rocky was interesting but Amber being so dumb that she didn't know the lunchtime pizza club that features a twist was actually a bible club was priceless

Viva being asked to manage the anti-bullying presentation at school was bizarre but Saz being frozen out by Ruby was cruel and Amber finding out ex-boyfriend Brandon isn't going to be a father after all was interesting

Amber asking her friends to take over masturbating her boyfriend because her wrist was aching after half an hour was priceless but shaking it off her hand later was disgusting

You just knew the new school counsellor would have the girls wanting to check him out but using the death of the teacher found in the closet was creepy and Saz saying she wants to kill them all was bound to have him worried

Rocky kissing Holli to make Viva jealous was a little juvenile but Saz and Amber both after the same boy is only going to end badly, Holli and the can of coke was priceless and Brandon trying to make out with Viva was terrible
