About the Show:
Legit is about a comedian, "Jim" (Jefferies) and his misguided attempts to become legitimate in life. He is encouraged in his quest by his best friend "Steve" (Dan Bakkedahl), and Steve's brother "Billy" (D.J. Qualls).

Season 1



Episode 1: Pilot (Jan/17/2013)
Jim takes his wheelchair-dependent friend to a Las Vegas brothel in the opener of this series, which follows a crass comedian as he struggles to seek legitimacy in his life and career.

Complications arise when Jim and Steve break Billy out of his adult-care facility.

Episode 3: Love (Jan/31/2013)
Billy decides he wants to have a real relationship, so Jim and Steve create a fake online dating profile to help him meet girls. Steve goes to a bar and tests out Jim’s pick-up strategies on a co-worker and returns home to find Billy in a compromising position.

Jim gets into an argument about proper etiquette on a plane.

Jim, Steve and Billy appear in court to recall a break-in at their house.

Jim is rejected from a youth-mentoring program. Later, Steve makes an unexpected discovery about his ex-wife.

Jim seeks acting lessons and career advice from Andy Dick.

Jim arranges an intervention after discovering that Janice has become a hoarder.

Jim’s house is swarmed by paparazzi after he beds a celebrity. To sneak her out of the house, he talks her into crawling into a suitcase and taking a ride in the trunk of his car.

Episode 10: Cuckoo’s Nest (Mar/21/2013)
Jim goes to volunteer at Billy’s adult care facility but his attempt goes wrong when Rodney escapes and Jim pisses off disabled patients by hitting on an attractive nurse that they all love.

Episode 11: Hat Hair (Mar/28/2013)
Jim, Steve, Billy and Rodney go to a minor league baseball game. When Jim refuses to remove his hat for a patriotic anthem, a political melee ensues.

Episode 12: Misunderstood (Apr/04/2013)
An actress accuses Jim of attempted rape. Later, Steve's wife and daughter move to Cincinnati.

Episode 13: Fatherhood (Apr/11/2013)
A prostitute claims to be pregnant with Billy's baby in the first-season finale.

The girl of Jim's dreams turns out to be a racist and he can't figure out exactly how bad that is. While he figures it out, Steve and Walter prove that they don't need Jim to get in trouble.

Episode 4: Reunion (Mar/19/2014)
When Jim and Steve go to their high school reunion they find that things are not what they thought, and maybe were not what they thought. Billy joins them, taking the place of an absent classmate.

Episode 5: Checkmate (Mar/26/2014)
Some drunken stupidity gets a helpless Billy towed away in the van, leading him into a high stakes game of Chess.

Episode 6: Rub & Slide (Apr/02/2014)
When Jim's mom ends up in the hospital during their visit, the guys spend some quality time together with their fathers...and some hookers.

Episode 7: Afghanistan (Apr/09/2014)
Jim goes all the way to Afghanistan to get away from his parents. While he and Steve find themselves under fire, Billy finds himself stranded alone with their mothers.

Episode 8: Homeless (Apr/16/2014)
After things go bad with Billy, Walter walks away. In their search for him the guys find that Janice has a secret.

Episode 9: Licked (Apr/23/2014)
Jim finds out what it's like to be objectified when a casting agent makes him earn his place in show business with an indecent proposal.

Episode 10: Weekend (Apr/30/2014)
Georgia brings Steve some bad news when she drops Emily off. Steve doesn't take it well and abandons Jim with parenting duties for the weekend.

Episode 11: Intervention (May/07/2014)
Jim accidentally throws a coke party during a surprise intervention for Steve.

Episode 12: Sober (May/14/2014)
A chance meeting with Katie Knox and her husband brings the guys to a party being thrown at her house. Then, Jim gets an unexpected reaction after successfully working out a new bit on stage.

Episode 13: Honesty (May/14/2014)
Reeling from his near death experience, Jim considers what to do with his life moving forward. Possibly a life without comedy. Billy goes to the gaming competition that he's been training for.
