Love and Marriage Premiered on ITV on June 05, 2013

The drama follows three generations of the Paradise family, who have to deal with the decision of Pauline Paradise (Alison Steadman) to walk out on her family the day she retires from her job as a lollipop lady.

Her husband Ken will be played by Duncan Preston and acting talent including Celia Imrie, Larry Lamb and Ashley Jensen will also feature.

Acting director of drama Steve November said: “A warm-hearted drama focusing on the highs and lows of family life, Love and Marriage is a wonderful addition to ITV’s range of series and features a stellar cast playing the three generations of the Paradise family all of whom have a  fascinating story to tell.”

Nice introduction into all the characters but Pauline's retirement present being resposible for her fathers fall and death was tragic but turning to Ken for comfort who dismisses her was insensitive, Kevin saying it's the babies coming out party instead of christening was amusing and Heather wanting a quickie with Charlie at the fire station was priceless

Heather's face when the women were flirting with her husband was amusing but letting her paranoia over Charlie get to her was bound to get ugly and Pauline not going to the party must of been hard for her but Ken not buying a present because Pauline always did was terrible but Pauline going on a date with Peter was interesting and that phone call didn't help

Kevin stealing from the old lady who had just died in a fire has got to the most despicable thing ever but pretending that he won the money was believable, the police getting involved was a surprise as it looked like she had no family, what a dilemma for Heather getting pregnant after a one night stand

Trust Tommy’s wife demanding that he comes home just when Rowan turns to him in her hour of need but being kicked out by both was amusing and Heather telling Ashley that he’s definitely the father of her baby was a surprise

Martin getting carried away with the attention from the child-minder was predictable but not cooking for his wife because he was helping her was always going to end badly but taking their eyes of their daughter while at the pool could ended a lot worse

Ken having a garage sale was amusing as he was selling everything for £1 and Kevin's prank radio call to Charlie about Ashley's affair was stupid as he was bound to figure out it was his wife, Heather he was talking about and Kevin offering Pauline and Ken a weekend away in the hotel that they spent their honeymoon in was a nice way to get them back together
