Chosen Premiered on Crackle on January 17, 2013

Ian Mitchell (Milo Ventimiglia) is a small-time defense lawyer struggling to raise his daughter in the aftermath of a messy divorce from Laura Mitchell (Nicky Whelan). His life is uprooted when he discovers an intricate box left at his doorstep. Inside the box is a gun, a photo of a stranger, and simple instructions to "expire" this person in 3 days.

Before Ian can wonder if this box is some sick prank the bullets begin to fly. Someone is also trying to kill him. Ian has been “chosen” to join a secret, deadly game that is happening all around us every day – but few will ever know. This is the beginning of an adrenaline-fueled life-or-death ride that will change Ian's life forever and force him to decide what is most important to him.

Chosen is a high concept action-thriller series that twists and turns through the Los Angeles cultural landscape. The 6-part series is written and directed by Ben Ketai and airs on the Crackle network starting January 17, 2013.

I'm not surprised Ian was on edge after being shot at after the box was delivered but the ex and daughter were lucky as they had just left, finding out from the shooter saying it's a game before killing herself was a surprise

You can understand why Daniel was sceptical about meeting Ian as he knows he's supposed to kill him but looks like Ian hasn't figured out someone has the same mission but he's the target

Now Ian knows Paul was going to kill him and as he did hit him Ian did the right thing by shooting him in the knee to stop him following but he should of listened to Paul as they now have his daughter, Ellie

I liked the way Ian found out who took the video of Ellie and putting his phone in his car so he could find out who hired him was quick thinking but the diner party was a novel twist

Laura figuring out Chris was involved after finding the camera in the bathroom was great and calling in a favour from a crook to help rescue Ellie sounded like a good idea but the place being empty was a little predictable

Going to where Daniel was going to kill his subject was a clever move as he knew he would have to be their and as his daughter, Ellie's life is in danger if he don't kill him within the time allowed but loved the twist after killing Daniel, Ellie returns with a box for Laura and the picture is of Ian

With Laura being chosen to kill Ian at the end of last season it would of been nice if they started with that but Jacob finding his own box in his car was still interesting and finding out Ellie had seen what her parents did to Daniel was a surprise

I assume Laura not killing Ian was why she and Ellie were targeted but Ian coming to her rescue was great, Jacob not killing his target because he was someone else target does make the situation more complicated

Jacob's target poisoning him first at the bank was sneaky but turning up at his home was a surprise and having to kill him in front of friends was sad but it was self defence

The cleaners just turning up moments after the kill was incredible and the fact his friend knows the EMT's does make you wonder how far this goes and finding the second box in the new car with Ian and his family should make the next couple of episode interesting

You just knew Jacob throwing the box away would cause another set of problems but taking his brother while at work was predictable as he needed the incentive to complete the mission and sending someone to kill him afterwards was a little premature

So much for Ian thinking he's safe with his family when Jacob woke up outside their hideout after being drugged and with the gun going off after the fight I thought Ian had killed Jacob but him returning and killing them both before watching his brother die because he let their daughter go was a surprise

With the vendor locking the door before showing the house to the woman I thought he was going to kill her but her killing him was a nice twist and Josie getting another box as soon as she's was home was quick, I'm not surprised the girl didn't want a lift from him considering he killed her parents but the the so called neighbour having her photo in his pocket was a surprise and it was a good job he was there to save her

It's a good job Josie was teaching her kids survival skills as that was a close call at the traffic lights and seeing old faces is great as it ties the episodes together as they will or are targets

Josie was lucky her son talked told her where the kills were so she caught get to the panic room but another family being the killers was a nice twist and Jacob getting arrested for killing Max is bad news as his time is running out on his kill

Josie being stuck in the panic room with her kids while on the outside her sons boyfriend is bleeding to death before being shot was tragic

The old man pulling a gun on Jacob was amusing as he was in a nursing home but going back with a hand grenade was priceless and what a dilemma with Josie and the other mother holding guns to the other kids heads
