Cold Justice General Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

Cold Justice Premieres on TNT on September 03, 2013

In small towns across America, cases involving violent crimes can often go cold because of a lack of funding, resources and state-of-the-art forensic technology. With the right resources, though, it is possible that many of these cold cases can be re-opened and solved, bringing dangerous criminals to justice and providing closure for the families of their victims.

In TNT's Cold Justice, Kelly Siegler, a former Texas prosecutor for 21 years who has successfully tried 68 murder cases, and Yolanda McClary, a former crime scene investigator who worked more than 7,000 cases in her 26 years on the Las Vegas Police Department, are putting their vast knowledge and experience to work helping local law-enforcement officers and families of violent-crime victims get to the truth. With a fresh set of eyes on old evidence, superior interrogation skills and access to advanced DNA technology and lab testing, Siegler and McClary are determined to bring about a legal and emotional resolution. Taking on a different unsolved crime each week, they will carefully re-examine evidence, question suspects and witnesses, and chase down leads in an attempt to solve cases that would have otherwise remained cold indefinitely.

1x01 Small Town Suicide?

Interesting first cold case of the suspected suicide of Pam twelve years ago as her daughter remembered hearing a scream and ran to find Pam on the floor with a bullet wound to her head but the fact she had a row with her husband for pushing her daughter made the timing suspicious and you wouldn't expect a mother to do that with her young children in the house

1x02 Mother

Finding the brick on the porch six years later that was a match to the injury on her head was unbelievable and using a photo of the brick to get one of them to change their story was great but her one of her son's being involved was diabolical

1x03 Home Town Hero

Kelly going to her home town to solve a 31 year old murders was interesting as the two original suspected were still the only real suspects until they could eliminated the one and the remaining suspect was her son, Gary and an even bigger surprise he was indited back in the day but never charged

1x04 Hit and Run

Trying to solve the 25 year old case were Rachelle had been the victim of a hit-and-run was interesting as they think it was deliberate which would make it murder but having a witness seeing another motor in the area was a blow as this case is still cold

1x05 Hiding in Plain Sight

Risky move going after Tommy on only circumstances for the 16 year old murder but with so much circumstantial evidence was interesting and the fact he used to be a cop was probable how he got away with it for so long

1x06 Small Town Tragedy

Four-year-old Ashleigh running across the street to her neighbour's home naked and with her hands bound was a frightening thought and the fact her mother had been brutally abused and murdered was sickening but not being able to solve it was sad as Ashleigh's life has been on hold

1x07 Hatchet

Trying to solve Isabel's murder after 25 years was a long shot but the fact nobody heard someone sneak in through a creaking door while she slept and hit her on the head with a hatchet four times while family members slept on the other side of the wall was suspicious

TOP

1x08 Blind Love

The stroke victim not being able to talk very well but what he seen and was able to describe by the drawing was incredibly useful

2x01 Gone

Garland collecting his two young daughters from Tracy's babysitter while she was out does make him look guilty as he said she was at his place but has never been seen since and what her five year old daughter said during an interview was unbelievable as she described her mother being rolled up in a carpet and thrown in a ditch

TOP

2x02 A Monster Among Us (Camp Hill, AL)

Miss Louise being found with a cord wrapped around her neck and bruises all over her body was diabolical as the 78 year old had also been raped and the locals believing a family member was responsible was sickening but finding a DNA match years later was awesome

TOP

2x03 High School Sweethearts (La Porte, TX)

The suspected killer telling a girlfriend how the couple were killed when it wasn't common knowledge was his first mistake and the fact his story about his whereabouts keeps changing every time does make him look guilty and the daughter being cleared of involvement was great
