The Smoke Premieres on Sky 1 on February 20, 2014

Written by Lucy Kirkwood (Skins), the eight-part series follows the high-adrenaline adventures of White Watch, a team of London firefighters. Leading the crew is Kev (Bamber), a good man injured and betrayed during the worst fire of his career. Standing by Kev's side as he returns to work is his gutsy girlfriend Trish (Whittaker) and his cocksure friend and fellow firefighter Mal (Rhashan Stone). Other members of the crew include the fearless Ziggy (Pippa Bennett-Warner) and the mysterious new boy Dennis (Taron Egerton).

Kev was luck to survive those injuries from the fire thanks to being let down by the aerial ladder but his high spirits on his first day back nine months later was impressive and going back to another fire in the same building was bound to bring back the memories but dropping his trousers at the award ceremony to show his injuries because they didn't know his name was surprising

Yes he was in good spirit but his relationship with his girlfriend is really strained as result of his injury but finding new fire-fighter was responsible for it was a surprise he must feel guilty if he decided to become a fireman ?

Well his relationship with his girlfriend proposing but knowing she cheated on him with his best friend and one female fire-fighter nicking her emergency conceptive pill was devious

Mal chatting the girl up just before she killed herself was surprising and Trish relieving her sexual frustration by hand was understandable but sleeping with Mal was diabolical and I had a feeling Asbo knew more than he was letting on

Cindy's boyfriend risking his life to impress her with the banner was crazy but I'm glad they shown why they all had black eyes on the shout and I thought Kev would loose it when Mel told him about him and Trish

Mal getting attacked trying to rescue a woman was crazy and her not letting them know baby wasn't a baby but a 30 stone plus woman made the rescue that much harder and Asbo punching George was great but Kev taking his dog to the pound was amusing

Mal having a problem with Asbo was understandable but not allowing him to touch him was getting childish and Ziggy contacting Trish to tell her she's concerned about Kev was surprising, Trish finally getting around to she visits her daughter for the first time was nice but sad to think she gave her up for adoption

Tina turning up with Liam unexpectedly at work was amusing as it as Little Al was thrown in at the deep end and Mal finding out his transfer had gone through was surprising, Asbo knowing Kev knows the truth now and confides in Trish was unbelievable and the hen party crashing station was priceless
