BAD TEACHER is a single camera comedy based on the hit feature film about a hot, fearless and unapologetic former trophy wife who masquerades as a teacher in order to find a new man after her wealthy husband leaves her penniless. Dumped, divorced and broke due to a bad pre-nup, Meredith Davis is inspired by her friend's smart, awkward stepdaughter, Lily, to devise the perfect 3-step plan: 1) pose as a teacher at Lily's ritzy middle school 2) meet and marry a rich single dad 3) return to a lavish lifestyle. Using a phony resume, quick thinking Meredith effortlessly charms Principal Carl Gaines, who is easily duped and oblivious to her agenda. The faculty includes Joel, her handsome former high school classmate turned gym teacher, who sees right through her, but is amused by her antics; Irene, a shy, introverted teacher who's overly excited at the possibility of making a best friend; and Ginny, the up-tight Faculty President and busybody who resents Meredith and suspects something's fishy. Meredith may be the worst teacher ever, but she's the only one qualified to impart much-needed life lessons to Lily and her friends, while she keeps an eye out for husband #2.

Meredith deciding on the spire of the moment to pose as a teacher was crazy but as she seen all the divorced fathers at the school on Friday you can understand as she needed to find another rich husband but turning down a date to help the kids was nice

Meredith setting her sights on dating Bronwen's wealthy father was interesting as she was a daddies girl so Meredith needed her approval which was going to be hard as she knows Meredith was only after his money and wining her over only to dump him was surprising but the right thing to do

Meredith flirting with the the district evaluator was a bad idea but Ginny trying to sabotage her chances was great as she was obviously worried

Meredith loosing the guy his job all because he collected his bosses coffee in her car was crazy but sitting half naked in her office was amusing

Meredith getting jealous over Joel flirting with another teacher was her own fault as she wanted a no strings attached relationship but getting locked out while confiscating the toilet paper was amusing especially as they used it to try and get some attention from inside

I cant believe Meredith agreed to help Ginny finish the yearbook just to receive a free botox treatment but so much for Meredith allowing Ginny to do all the work when Ginny was distracted by her sudden break-up

Meredith joining principal Carl's Divorced Dudes support group was surprising but after running into her ex-husband's girlfriend it was obvious she was upset

Ginny trying to get Principal Carl fit for the faculty 50-yard dash was amusing as he was sweating like a pig and Meredith giving Irene a makeover was nice after all her efforts to date the chef herself

Meredith trying to raise funds to get her own apartment was interesting and you knew after finding out about the secret betting pool for the student science fair she would attempt to tip the odds in her favour but Lily spoiling it after overhearing about the bet was understandable

Meredith using the money she found in the car park for a vacation was bound to be missed but you can understand why she wouldn't admit to Ginny who lost it and Meredith buying Ginny car at a knocked down price to replace the money that was lost was just evil

Meredith refusing to back down after getting into an argument with the parents of the schools most gifted student was bound to ruffle some feathers and Joel hoping to charm his way out of it after accidentally scratching Ginny's car without leaving a note was pushing his luck

You just knew when Meredith's venue for her 30th birthday party fell through she would try and takeover Kim's celebration for passing her student teacher exam but her friends spoiling Kim's celebration was cruel

Principal Carl having second thoughts about getting back with his ex-spouse was a bed idea as she was engaged but Meredith getting back with Ray was predictable because of the money
