A. D. The Bible Continues picks up where the smash hit, The Bible, left off, continuing the greatest story ever told and exploring the exciting and inspiring events that followed the Crucifixion of Christ.

As most of the world knows, the Crucifixion was only the beginning of the story. The immediate aftermath of Christ's death had a massive impact on his disciples, his mother Mary, and key political and religious leaders of the era, completely altering the entire world in an instant. Watch as the disciples struggle to survive and share their beliefs, guiding us from the sorrow of Christ's ultimate sacrifice to the awe-inspiring wonder of the Resurrection and beyond.

1x01 The Tomb is Open

Claudia disagreeing with her husband choice to to crucify Jesus to restore order in Jerusalem made a nice change but Pontius agreeing to place guards at the tomb was amusing

1x03 The Spirit Arrives

The way Pontius is behaving I'm not surprised they tried to assassinate him during the festival and his guard threatening him with death was ironic as it was his death

Pontius killing ten Jews a day to get the assassin was barbaric and what tragic consequences for lying about their wealth

Pontius ordering the death of ten women at the wedding was unbelievable but his wife giving them a head start was bound to have consequences and the assassin being killer him to stop the torture was a blessing

Saul being blinded by Jesus was karma for persecuting him but changing his faith was amusing and Claudia's nightmares coming true was predictable as the young Roman was evil

1x09 Saul's Return

Caligula demanding that his statue be placed in the Temple after having one of his fathers followers kill himself just shows how crazy he is and Saul getting captured because of his big mouth was amusing

Caiaphas releasing Saul unharmed was bound to make the others sceptical
