CSI is a procedural drama series that premiered in October of 2000.



Plot:
In the city of Las Vegas, Nevada, its reputation for providing instant success for those willing to try their luck draws in the hopeful and the naive. This constant influx of visitors also provides ripe targets for criminals of all varieties, confident they will never be caught.

Unfortunately for them, most are proven wrong by the Las Vegas Police Department's night shift Crime Scene Investigations unit led by Gil Grissom. With almost obsessive dedication towards his quest for the facts, he and his elite team of investigators work various perplexing
cases using scientific skills and equipment that are capable of finding valuable clues from the most seemingly unlikely sources.

In a city of empty dreams and false fronts, Gil Grissom leads the quest for the one thing that can cut through the lies to the truth and justice, the evidence.

Season 1 Episode Guide



Episode 1. Pilot (Oct/06/2000)
Gil Grissom is the supervisor of the graveyard shift of Las Vegas' elite crime scene investigators. Holly Gribbs, fresh out of the academy, joins the team. Jim Brass is head of the unit and is trying to scare Gribbs from CSI. Catherine Willows, mother of a young daughter, is the number two CSI on this shift. Warrick Brown and Nick Stokes are competing to solve their 100th case to earn a promotion to CSI 3. Grissom investigates a murder staged to look like a suicide with precious little evidence. Warrick and Catherine take the case of a drunk who breaks into the house where he had been staying and is shot to death. Nick talks to a man who picked up a woman who drugged and robbed him.

Episode 2. Cool Change (Oct/13/2000)
A man is killed after winning a fortune and then dumping his girlfriend. So, Grissom, Nick, and newcomer to the CSI team, Sara Sidle, investigate this one. Holly Gribbs is in the hospital and Warrick is up for suspension for leaving her at the crime scene by herself. Holly later dies in the hospital, but Grissom doesn't suspend Warrick

Episode 3. Crate 'n Burial (Oct/20/2000)
Grissom, Nick, and Sara search for a kidnapped woman and find more than they expected. Catherine and Warrick investigate the hit and run death of a little girl.

Episode 4. Pledging Mr. Johnson (Oct/27/2000)
Grissom and Catherine investigate when a leg is found severed from a body in a lake. They suspect the husband and boyfriend. Meanwhile Sara and Nick investigate a fraternity pledging gone terribly wrong.

Episode 5. Friends & Lovers (Nov/03/2000)
Grissom and Warrick take the case of a young man who is found naked in the desert without an obvious cause of death. Sara gets to find out why the body of a woman who was buried last week is in a dumpster. Catherine and Nick investigate the killing of a school's dean by the school's founder.

Episode 6. Who Are You? (Nov/10/2000)
Catherine violates department protocol when she takes the case of a rape accusation against her ex-husband. Warrick and Sara search for the missing bullet that will either exonerate or indict a cop for murder. Grissom and Nick investigate when a female skeleton is found under a house buried in cement.

Episode 7. Blood Drops (Nov/17/2000)
When a teenager and her sister are the sole survivors of the gruesome murder of four members of one family in a quiet suburban neighborhood, Grissom and his entire team investigate the crime. What initially looks like a bizarre cult murder becomes more disturbing when they discover the motive behind the massacre.

Episode 8. Anonymous (Nov/24/2000)
Royce Harmon was murdered 3 months ago in a scene staged to look like a suicide. Now another murder has taken place. Whoever the killer is he has a thorough knowledge of forensics, he purposefully has left evidence, and has baffled Grissom and his team. Warrick and Nick investigate the case of a man who went over a cliff in his car and is now unconscious.

Episode 9. Unfriendly Skies (Dec/08/2000)
Grissom and his team investigate the death of a first class passenger on a flight to Las Vegas. The investigators are forced not only to examine the physical evidence, but also to interview all of the first class passengers to get their personal accounts of the incident.

Episode 10. Sex, Lies and Larvae (Dec/22/2000)
Grissom and Sara investigate a bug riddled body found in the desert. Warrick and Catherine look in to the theft of some valuable art. Nick gets to find out why a missing woman's car is found at the bus station. Warrick is suspected of having gambled on duty.

Episode 11. I-15 Murders (Jan/12/2001)
A woman is abducted from a supermarket. In the store, Grissom finds a bathroom stall door that claims five women have been killed. Warrick is caught in a casino on duty and is paired with a reluctant Sara. Their case is the apparent murder and robbery of a man who is found by his brother. Nick gets pulled in by his prostitute friend who gets in a scuffle with hotel security.

Episode 12. Fahrenheit 932 (Feb/01/2001)
A man about to go on trial for arson and the murder of his wife and child seeks assistance from Grissom to help prove his innocence. Meanwhile, Catherine and Nick investigate the underground world of sports gambling when a teenager is murdered at close range.

Episode 13. Boom (Feb/08/2001)
A bomb goes off in an office building killing one and injuring many more. The chief suspect is a security guard who left minutes before the explosion and has knowledge in bomb making. Nick helps his prostitute friend again. After giving in to his passion, she is found dead the next morning. Naturally, Nick is a suspect and to make it worse, Ecklie has the case.

Episode 14. To Halve and to Hold (Feb/15/2001)
When a single human bone is discovered in the desert, Grissom and Catherine must cover miles of territory to find the rest of the skeleton. And Warrick and Sara trace the death of a male stripper to members of a wedding party who may have celebrated a little too hard the night before the nuptials.

Episode 15. Table Stakes (Feb/22/2001)
At a swanky fundraiser, attended by the sheriff, a woman turns up dead in the pool. The owner of the house is away and a young couple is housesitting. Warrick looks into an apparent professional hit in the glass elevator of one of the hotels.

Episode 16. Too Tough to Die (Mar/01/2001)
A woman is abducted from a mall parking garage. She's raped, beaten, shot and left for dead. Sara collects evidence from her and grows attached to her. Nick and Grissom analyze the crime scene. Catherine and Warrick are given boxes of evidence from a shooting that goes to trial in four days. The CSI who had the case has quit and they have to prove what happened. To make Catherine's life more complicated, Eddie has taken out a second mortgage without her knowledge.

Episode 17. Face Lift (Mar/08/2001)
A body is found in a pottery store in what's apparently a robbery that was interrupted. Fingerprints at the scene seem to match a twenty year old kidnapping case. Sara and Warrick look into a case where a woman burned to death in her home. The woman was burned to an ash but only the chair she was in was burned, the rest of the house is fine. Sara believes they have a case of spontaneous combustion.

Episode 18. $35K O.B.O (Mar/29/2001)
A couple leaving a restaurant on their anniversary are killed in the street and their car is stolen. The crime scene is compromised when it rains shortly after the CSIs arrive. It gets more mysterious when the car is found and it becomes a new crime scene. Catherine looks into the collapse of a city owned residence that kills three elderly women. She runs into problems with the city engineer responsible for the building.

Episode 19. Gentle, Gentle (Apr/12/2001)
The entire team investigate the abduction of the infant child of a well to do family. Suspicion immediately falls on the child's parents.

Episode 20. Sounds of Silence (Apr/19/2001)
Two women run over a deaf man but they didn't kill him- he was already dead. Grissom has to find out who did it and he's not getting help from the deaf man's school. Catherine and Nick investigate an apparent mob hit that leaves five dead in a coffee shop.

Episode 21. Justice is Served (Apr/26/2001)
Grissom, Nick, and Warrick take the case of a jogger who was killed by a wild animal in the park. It gets complicated when they discover that the jogger had his liver removed after he was killed. Catherine and Sara investigate the death of a six year old girl at a shady carnival.

Episode 22. Evaluation Day (May/10/2001)
On the day Grissom has to evaluate his team, a head is found in the trunk of a car. While Gil and Catherine work on the head, Sara and Nick investigate a body in the desert that's missing it's head. Warrick looks into a murder in juvenile detention in which his young friend James is the only witness.

Episode 23. The Strip Strangler (May/17/2001)
The team is investigating the ongoing murders by a signature killer. The killer has some knowledge of forensics and has left little evidence behind. With the investigation somewhat stalled, the sheriff invites the FBI to join the case. This makes Grissom angry and it only gets worse when Sara offers to bait the killer.

Season 2 Episode Guide



Episode 1: Burked (Sep/27/2001)
The wayward son of a Las Vegas mogul is found dead, the apparent victim of a drug overdose, but the CSI team soon discovers that the crime scene has been staged, and they are looking for a murderer – or two.

Episode 2: Bully for You (Oct/04/2001)
The class clown from the local high school is found murdered on campus, and the CSI team uses sophisticated new equipment to track the scent the killer left behind; Sara and Nick investigate a case involving a severely decomposed body of an Army veteran found in a bag.

Episode 3: Chaos Theory (Oct/11/2001)
The CSI team investigates when a co-ed student, who was having an affair with a married professor, disappears from her college dormitory room without a trace.

Episode 4: Overload (Oct/18/2001)
Grissom is sure that an electrical shock sent a construction worker plummeting to his death – but signs on the victim’s body post-mortem contradict the crime scene; Catherine and Nick don’t believe a psychiatrist who claims that the teenage boy she was treating died in her care after suffering an epileptic seizure.

Episode 5: Scuba Doobie Doo (Oct/25/2001)
Grissom, Sara and Warrick scour a blood-spattered apartment when the former tenant’s story about his missing girlfriend doesn’t add up – he claims she’s visiting her parents, but they say she never arrived; Nick and Catherine are confronted with a scuba diver found dead in the top of a tree near Lake Mead – a murder or an urban legend-turned-fact?

Episode 6: Alter Boys (Nov/01/2001)
The CSI team is called to a desert crime scene, where a young man has been discovered in the act of burying a body – or two; Warrick and Catherine investigate the death of a casino spa customer under suspicious circumstances.

Episode 7: Caged (Nov/08/2001)
When a rare book restorer is found dead under suspicious circumstances, the CSI team focus on their only eyewitness, an autistic co-worker; Sara and Catherine investigate the fatal collision of a train and an SUV that only looks like an accident.

Episode 8: Ellie (Nov/15/2001)
Much to the chagrin of his competitive CSI team, Grissom puts Warrick in charge of the graveyard shift’s investigation of a casino con job,which escalates into a murder with one serious and shocking suspect – Captain Jim Brass’s estranged daughter.

Episode 9: Slaves of Las Vegas (Nov/22/2001)
A naked young woman is found dead in a playground sandbox, but the scars on her body lead Grissom and his team on a journey to the dark side –the underground world of sado-masochism; Sara and Warrick investigate a robbery/shooting at a checking cashing business.

Episode 10: And Then There Were None (Dec/06/2001)
Armed robbers, disguised as women, knock over the high stakes table at a casino, leaving eight people wounded and one dead bad guy; Catherine and Sara investigate a convenience store homicide in an old mining town involving a criminal they already know. Two separate cases? Maybe.Maybe not.

Episode 11: Organ Grinder (Dec/13/2001)
A young man dies in an elevator. Immediately after his death, his vital organs are transferred to a myriad of patients. To further impede the investigation, his wife has his remains cremated, leaving our investigators very little evidence to determine the cause of his death.

Episode 12: You've Got Male (Dec/20/2001)
The detectives found the worse possible thing in their crime scene: another body. Although the two woman appear totally dissimilar at first glance,they are actually sisters. One is very out-going while the other is a recluse, working from her house and buying everything from catalogs.The primary crime scene is at their house which bears signs of violence, but with none of a force entry

Episode 13: Identity Crisis (Jan/17/2002)
A staged suicide harks the return of a serial killer. Catherine and Gil Grissom, while at court, finds the the residing judge looks exactly like this killer. Grissom investigates the judge’s past and finds a startling answer.

Episode 14: The Finger (Jan/31/2002)
Catherine Willows becomes part of a kidnapping when a suspicious-looking man is questioned about his bloodied hands. Upon release, Catherine, who is after the man to return his glasses, is told to get in the vehicle by avoice on the phone. The man’s girlfriend has been kidnapped and will be killed if he doesn’t deliver the ransom money on time. An important piece of evidence is the girlfriend’s severed finger, given to her lover by the kidnapper.

Episode 15: Burden of Proof (Feb/07/2002)
Grissom investigates the murder of a Las Vegas photographer whose remains were dumped at a nearby body farm where CSIs routinely study corpses, and his findings reveal that the man was apparently shot to death even though there are no bullet fragments in the body. Also,Grissom's leadership is questioned by some members of his staff.

Episode 16: Primum Non Nocere (Feb/28/2002)
An ice hockey player dies during a game.

Episode 17: Felonious Monk (Mar/07/2002)
Four monks were found dead in a Thai monastery in Las Vegas. Each monk was individually shot between the eyes, yet there were no signs of struggle. Catherine, meanwhile, re-investigates the murder of herfriend, Stephanie, when the convicted killer dies of cancer. His confession was aired on TV. Though he claimed that he had committed many crimes, he firmly denied killing Stephanie. This prompted the saddened Catherine to examine the evidence which leads to unexpected results.

Episode 18: Chasing The Bus (Mar/28/2002)
A tour bus heading to Las Vegas skids off the highway, leading to many deaths and even more injuries. The team suspects that this is no mere accident.

Episode 19: Stalker (Apr/04/2002)
A young woman is found dead inside a heavily secured house. The position of her body strikes a cord in Nick’s memory, prompting him to believe that he might be the next target.

Episode 20: Cats in the Cradle... (Apr/25/2002)
An old lady is found dead with a stabbed wound in her upper chest. There are over 20 cats in her house.

Episode 21: Anatomy of Lye (May/02/2002)
The detectives discover a body of a woman in the middle of a desert. Autopsy reveals that she drowned. Another body is found in a park, buried and covered in lye which has greatly damaged the body. The man was the victim of a hit-and-run and bled to death.

Episode 22: Cross Jurisdictions (May/09/2002)
An ex-chief of CSI is murdered in his house after a wild party for therich and famous. His young daughter and wife is taken hostage to Miami. Catherine and Warrick follows the trail and work with Caine and his team to solve the case. When the FBI becomes involve in the same case, the CSI realizes that they are dealing with a serial killer who preys on the rich.

Episode 23: The Hunger Artist (May/16/2002)
The body of a woman is found in a shopping cart, wrapped in a blanket with her mutilated face protruding out. The woman was a model named Ashley James whose face can be found all over Las Vegas, on billboards and magazine covers.

Season 3 Episode Guide



Episode 1: Revenge is Best Served Cold (Sep/26/2002)
The CSIs investigate the mysterious death of a poker-playing legend in the middle of a volatile high stakes game; Catherine and Nick track a gun-shot victim found at an old landing strip in the middle of nowhere to the illegal world of street racing.

Episode 2: The Accused is Entitled (Oct/03/2002)
A box-office superstar is arrested for the murder of his one-nightstand, and his dream team attorneys will stop at nothing to throw dirt on the CSIs’ evidence collection – including adding Grissom’s mentor to their defense team.

Episode 3: Let the Seller Beware (Oct/10/2002)
An open house becomes a death house, when the two owners are found murdered – a cuckolded husband, and his wife, who may have been cheating a little too close to home; Sara investigates the gruesome death of a cheerleader, with cannibalistic overtones

Episode 4: A Little Murder (Oct/17/2002)
A popular dwarf is found hanged during the annual little people’s convention, but his average-sized fiancée insists that he did not kill himself, and as the CSI team investigates, she may turn out to be most likely suspect in his staged murder; meanwhile, when Catherine is sent to process a home invasion robbery, she is attacked by the suspect who has been hiding in the house.contaminating part of the crime scene – and apparently covering up what really happened between she and Lawrence the night he died. And when the CSIs process Lawrence’s computer, they find evidence that he may have been having an online fling, further implicating Jessica,especially since Lawrence’s Instant Message sweetie was a beautiful pseudo, perfect for him in ways Jessica could never be.Meanwhile, Catherine is dispatched to investigate an apparent home invasion robbery turned deadly. As she is processing what she believes to be a clear and secured crime scene, the suspect, who had secreted himself in the house, attacks her. Her horror at surviving what other CSIs have not fills her with a very real fear, surmounted only by the fact that once the suspect fell on top of her, she herself becomes evidence in a murder that she is now determined to solve.

Episode 5: Abra Cadaver
(Oct/31/2002)
A woman who volunteers to be part of a magic show is made to disappear – for real – and when the CSI team investigates, they find that a famous magician may be a murderer; Catherine and Nick look into the death of a rock star whose overdose may have been staged by one of his greedy band mates.

Episode 6: The Execution of Catherine Willows
(Nov/07/2002)
A serial killer who Catherine helped put on death row receives a stay of execution on a new evidence appeal, forcing Catherine to reexamine her feelings and the case against him; a young woman goes missing, and her alcoholic father, found in their home in a blood-drenched t-shirt, can’t explain what happened to her.

Episode 7: Fight Night (Nov/14/2002)
During a middleweight championship bout, two fighters with bad blood between them enter the ring, but only one is left standing – and the CSIs are called to the scene when the loser is pronounced dead;meanwhile, in the aftermath of the fight, gang bangers use a different brand of violence to settle a score; and Nick investigates a smash-and-grab robbery in a casino jewelry store.

Episode 8: Snuff (Nov/21/2002)
The CSIs investigate the death of a porn actress in a violent snuff film, but have no idea who she is, where the movie was filmed, or who shot it; Nick and Grissom trace a skeleton found in a toolbox covered with fire ants.

Episode 9: Blood Lust
(Dec/05/2002)
A young man is accidentally run over by a taxi, and a pack of angry bystanders attack the driver, believing he intended to flee the scene,leaving the young man dead on the street. But the CSIs prove the boy had already been fatally stabbed before the cab hit him, and now they are investigating three deaths – one, an impersonal hate crime, and the other two, equally sad, unnecessary and very personal.

Episode 10: High and Low
(Dec/12/2002)
A John Doe takes a flyer off the roof of a building, but he died in the air, not on the ground, and the CSIs have only his tattoo to jump start their investigation; Catherine is called to the scene of a shooting at a bar, and finds herself involved in the ultimate neighborhood feud.

Episode 11: Recipe for Murder
(Jan/09/2003)
A dismembered body is found in the grinder of a meat-packing plant,and the CSIs trace the murder to a five-star restaurant, where the victim was the head chef; the parents of a troubled young woman report her death, an apparent suicide, but Sara and Warrick soon establish that there are suspicious circumstances – the body has been moved and repositioned.

Episode 12: Got Murder
(Jan/16/2003)
The CSI team work backward from the gruesome discovery of a human eyeball in a raven’s nest, to discover that a wife who had formerly gone missing has been murdered – and both the husband and the teenage daughter have motives that shock the investigators; a car salesman winds up on Dr. Robbins’ autopsy table, but he only looks dead.

Episode 13: Random Acts of Violence
(Jan/30/2003)
A little girl is murdered in a drive-by shooting and Grissom is concerned that Warrick may not be right for the case – it happened in his neighborhood, and the preliminary evidence points to a local troublemaker Warrick would love to find guilty; Nick investigates a boss’s murder in an internet service company, and while everyone admits to hating the victim, the evidence shows that none of his employees killed him.

Episode 14: One Hit Wonder
(Feb/06/2003)
The CSIs investigate a serial Peeping Tom who’s violent attacks on women are beginning to escalate; Sara reopens a case for an old friend, an assistant district attorney who was crippled in an attack that left her husband dead.

Episode 15: Lady Heather’s Box
(Feb/13/2003)
Two murdered male escorts lead Grissom back to the seductive Lady Heather’s underground world of S & M; Catherine deals with a personal tragedy involving the near-drowning of her daughter and the disappearance of her ex-husband, who may have been the victim of foul play.

Episode 16: Lucky Strike (Feb/20/2003)
The son of a pro basketball player is kidnapped for ransom, but when the drop is compromised, the little boy is tragically murdered, and it is up to Catherine and Warrick to track his killer; a man with a spike in his head lives to lead the police on a merry chase, and when he dies, the chase continues for Grissom and Nick.

Episode 17: Crash & Burn  (Mar/13/2003)
The CSIs investigate when an elderly woman runs her car into the front of a popular restaurant, killing three people, and injuring many, including Hank, Sara’s paramedic boyfriend; a woman is found asphyxiated in herbed, and carbon monoxide poisoning is the primary suspect – along with her husband, who was sleeping next to her the night she died.

Episode 18: Precious Metal
(Apr/03/2003)
A decomposed body is discovered sealed in a chemical waste drum,and the CSIs track the victim to the highly competitive world of battlebots; a dead man is found in a dumpster, and it is Greg Sanders who comes out of the lab to crack the case in the field.

Episode 19: A Night at the Movies
(Apr/10/2003)
A man is murdered in a movie theater, and the CSIs must determine if the killer was taking a cue from the master – Alfred Hitchcock; a teenage boy is shot to death in a hail of bullets, and his own brother may have been involved in the murder.

Episode 20: Last Laugh
(Apr/24/2003)
The CSIs are called in when a popular stand-up comedian-turned-television star kills during his set at a local comedy club --- but then someone has the last laugh, and murders him onstage; the bathroom may be the most dangerous spot in the house, but Brass convinces Nick and Sara that a woman who died in a tub accident may have had a little help, and they have her body exhumed to prove it.

Episode 21: Forever (May/01/2003)
A horse trainer is found dead in the cargo hold of a private jet, and it appears that she has been trampled by her charge, until the CSI team discovers that the murderer was of the two-legged variety; Sara and Warrick investigate an apparent Romeo and Juliet double-suicide in Death Valley.

Episode 22: Play with Fire…
(May/08/2003)
Explosions of a personal and literal kind rock the lab – and the lives of several of the CSIs; the body of a woman is found in a college broadcast booth, and fingerprints found on the body link the crime to a known serial killer.

Episode 23: Inside the Box
(May/15/2003)
The CSI team is left reeling when one of their own is murdered in a bank robbery, but the situation only gets worse when Catherine realizes that the casino owner Sam Braun, her longtime mentor and father figure, may be the central figure in the investigation; Grissom can no longer hide the fact that his hearing has deteriorated.

Season 4 Episode Guide



Episode 1: Assume Nothing (Sep/25/2003)
Swinging couples are marked for death in a series of gruesome murders on and off the Strip, and even Grissom is stumped; Catherine is devastated when the murder charges against her mentor Sam Braun are dropped because of her missteps in the case.

Episode 2: All for Our Country
(Oct/02/2003)
With their only suspects dead in the sexual serial killer case, Grissom suspects a cop has delivered vigilante-style justice; meanwhile, Sara and Catherine are called to the scene where a man is found dead – and decomposed -- in a bathtub.

Episode 3: Homebodies
(Oct/09/2003)
The CSIs work on three cases, two of which may be related –Grissom and Warrick investigate when a robbery victim is found mummified in a locked and barricaded closet, Nick and Sara follow up on the report of an unsupervised teen party gone bad, and Catherine interviews a five year old who finds a gun that was used in a homicide.

Episode 4: Feeling the Heat (Oct/23/2003)
An infant left in a hot car is found dead, and the CSI team thinks that the parents may be guilty of murder; Nick and Sara investigate the death of a young woman found floating in Lake Mojave who didn’t drown; an overweight man is found dead in what may be a killer massage chair.

Episode 5: Fur and Loathing (Oct/30/2003)
Grissom and Catherine investigate the shooting death of a man dressed as raccoon; Nick and Sara report to the scene where their stockboy victim is found shot to death – and flash frozen -- at a food warehouse.

Episode 6: Jackpot
(Nov/06/2003)
Grissom goes solo on a murder investigation that begins with a head being delivered to his office, and ends with his evidence kit being stolen, leaving him with no other choice than to build one from scratch, using common household items to catch a killer in a smalltown, with little help from the local sheriff; Catherine receives what she thinks is hush money from her father, Sam Braun.

Episode 7: Invisible Evidence (Nov/13/2003)

Episode 24: Grave Danger Part 1 (May/19/2005)
CSI Nick Stokes is kidnapped while investigating a crime scene and buried alive in a glass casket by his kidnapper. The Las Vegas Police Department receives a package with a tape and a USB key which allows them to watch Nick inside the casket, together with a request of one million dollars cash to release him. The mayor refuses to pay the ransom, but Catherine Willows convinces her wealthy father to provide the money. Gil Grissom schedules a meeting with the criminal to deliver the money and be informed where Nick is.

Episode 25: Grave Danger Part 2 (May/19/2005)
After Grissom gives the kidnapper the ransom money, the kidnapper blows himself up without revealing where Nick is buried. The team must then use all their knowledge and resources, as well as race time, to find Nick before he runs out of air.

Episode 9: Living Legend (Nov/23/2006)
An old mob legend returns to Vegas many years after his staged death to murder his deceitful cronies. To cover up his murders he masquerades as a Mexican fisherman, an old and weathered African American woman and transforms himself into one of his victim’s hours before he kills him.

Episode 10: Locomotives (Dec/07/2006)
A man incriminates himself when he falls in cement when trying to transport his wife’s dead body. His unintentional actions lead him to commit two murders within 24 hours. Meanwhile, Grissom comes face to face with the miniature killer when the third and final murder takes place at a slaughterhouse.
